Python Workbook: Learn Python in one day and Learn It Well (Workbook with Questions, Solutions and Projects) (Learn Coding Fast Workbook) Review: A wonderful way to learn to code in Python - This has been such a helpful workbook! Jamie had put something together that greatly extends her book, Learn Python in one day, and Learn it Well. (Of course you could do it without her other book, but they compliment each other so well, and her books are so affordable, that there is no reason not to get it too.) The exercises slowly built on each other, syncing very well with her other book. If there was a tricky piece of code in an exercise, she gave clues about how it should be done. I have gone through all but the final two projects at the end of the book and everything works. While there is still plenty to learn, I feel much more confident about writing Python after going through this book. Review: Learning Python Programming - This is a good book for people who wish to learn programming using Python. The fundamentals of Python are presented in detailed and the learning is enforced by the many examples and exercises.

Great simple exercises. Perfect for practicing python
This quiz book with simple short problems/exercises was exactly what I needed to help my daughter practice her python programming. Great for providing a bit of repetition. Interestingly pairs exceedingly well with the popular Python for Kids book (some of the chapter orders even match). Some minor older ways to quote strings are used but otherwise great reference.

Analogies do not make sense.
The author tries to make things understandable, but his analogies don’t make sense to me (now, that’s just me I’m writing about). Others may have a better understanding. I’m going to stick with it though it’s a slow read and I have to use my computer and kindle in order to follow along. Anyway, good luck to all!

I bought this book some months ago and I thought it was not going to be pretty useful but I bought any way... just to practice something. Now I think that was the best choice I've ever made, my programming skills are improving so much with these practices, So I encourage you to buy it and use it of course, it will be great for your logic.

It only took me more than 1 week to finish these two books: (1) Learn Python in One Day and Learn It Well (2nd Edition) by Jamie Chan; and (2) Python Workbook: Learn Python in one day and Learn It Well (Workbook with Questions, Solutions and Projects) by Jamie Chan These books should have been the No.1 best sellers. If you are a beginner in Python, I highly suggest these books for you. If you wish to advance further to intermediate level, I suggest The Python Workbook: A Brief Introduction with Exercises and Solutions by Ben Stephenson. If you wish to advance further to Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, I suggest Hands-On Machine Learning with Scikit-Learn, Keras, and TensorFlow: Concepts, Tools, and Techniques to Build Intelligent Systems by Aurélien Géron Kudos to the author!

It's not often I get my python book out but when I do, I find it very satisfying. The book is clear and easy to follow and the author is clearly compassionate to the acute mental distress of the beginner programmer. I readily recommend this book and spent a lot of time with what is a great programming language to learn, but having not done any for 6 months I have now forgotten the lot. A definate buy and a great book to refer back to and quickly get up to speed.
