Precision cut, fits exactly. And it even has an adhesive to keep the touch pad and the keyboard in place so if you tip the tray upside down the devices do not fall out. Now for me I cut the plastic in half and placed half the plastic back on since I wanted to be able to remove the keyboard and the Magic Mouse pad out. If you remove the plastic strip that protects the adhesive during shipment he stick your devices into place then it will be tough to remove the two out of the tray. Solid and cleanly milled, no sharp corners or edges. Tray is super light even when loaded. Pads on the bottom of the tray is also a nice touch so it does not scratch the surface that the try is placed on and helps to keep the tray from sliding. Thank you for a nice product and giving me a product I didn’t know I needed until I did I fact need it and then went searching for it.

Seems like a great tray with a good value. The metal build feels solid and high quality, and the red color looks sharp on my desk. It keeps my Magic Keyboard and Trackpad solidly in place. My only complaint is the alignment issue between the pad and keyboard. As others said, it’s a bit uneven. While not any sort of dealbreaker, it kinda sucks that they’re uneven. That said, it’s great for controlling things in a casual environment and easy to use. Definitely recommend if you want a cleaner setup!

I saw some complaints about fit, but since returns were free, I thought I'd give it a chance. I like that it's thin, form-fitting aluminum and not thick plastic. And the electro-static sticky mats are brilliant. They're not really sticky to the touch, but they somehow hold tight to the trackpad and keyboard, enough that I can flip everything upside down and it stays in place. Initially, I thought I had a fit problem, too. The tolerances are really tight, and one half of one side of the trackpad didn't fit within the lip of the tray. I was prepared to send it back, but it dawned on me it may have been a slight twist in the tray across its length causing the issue. I can't remember how I figured that out; if it was just a hunch, or if I saw it when laying the tray on a flat surface. Anyway, I applied an opposite mild twisting force across the length, and the pinch went away. I guess the thinness of the aluminum makes issues like that possible, but it was easy to correct and now that everything fits, it stays very rigid. I love it.

Just got this product in the mail today and I absolutely love it. This was exactly the type of thing I was looking for—and it looks great at the same time. I was very happy to learn that it DOES work with my magic keyboard with touch ID (idk why other ppl might’ve said it doesn’t fit—it literally does) AND it fits with my magic trackpad 3! I was worried based on the item’s description that it would maybe not be compatible with the newest versions of both products but it works flawlessly! My only issue is that the product I received is clearly USED and not new like the description of course described. There were multiple scuff marks and literal dents in the tray. While it wasn’t necessarily overtly excessive, it was more than enough to warrant me writing a review. While I’m very happy that the product does as intended—even with the newest versions of tech, I should not have received something that was literally in used condition. For that, I have to rate it 3/5 at best. But otherwise, had the tray been new like i was SUPPOSED to have received, I would have absolutely 0 complaints and very happy I found this product! Because it does what I always needed, I won’t be returning, but I am still disappointed that I did not receive the product that was advertised.

This is well made and the fit is perfect for the keyboard and trackpad to sit together as 1 unit. I have it set up for a left-hand trackpad and was concerned the edges would be in the way as it is turned backward from its design to be on the right. It workes perfectly and still able to charge units in place without removal. Lightweight and sturdy and the Red color is eye-catching and I could not be happier. I looked at all options and glad I went with this one.

This keyboard tray is NOT COMPATIBLE with the TOUCH ID Keyboard! In the questions about the product, the manufacturer responds that YES, it will work with the new "Touch ID" wireless keyboard...but when put into position, it is OFF BY 1/32" or so!! While that does not sound like a lot, it is incredibly loos up and down (see photo). And if you do cram them both in, it is TOO tight, so where they meet "bows" up, rendering the entire assembly useless. Too bad, as the design is great and clean, but designee-ness has cancelled out usability. Sad. (And squishy stuff underneath is not uniformly placed, and makes surface uneven!) Will be returning.

I love the fact that my keyboard and mouse seem like one unit now. The tray has non-skid pads underneath and it sits perfectly on my desk. This is perfect solution. Typing is exactly as it was without the tray. I highly recommend it.

It’s decent once you abandoned that ad he’s of that’s on the piece. The rounded thick pieces look nice, but proved to be not very supportive; typing and touchpad usage felt like I was working on a pillow. Anyway, my solution was to remove that adhesive and use some of the double sided tape that I had. Works well and feels stable.
