Sony Alpha a6400 Mirrorless Camera: Compact APS-C Interchangeable Lens Digital Camera - E Mount Compatible Cameras - ILCE-6400L/B (Renewed)

I bought this received this camera March 14, 2025 and do not regret my purchase. This camera was part of Amazon renewed program. I bought a few other things from this program, including and Oculus Quest and hasn't given me any problems and was on great condition. This camera appears to be brand new, their are no marks or signs of use, further more I took 3 photos with camera after I received it and checked the shutter count, and it reported 3 only 3 photos, so I'm not sure if that means it was never used or what. I purchased it with the 16-50mm kit lens and it is pretty amazing for a kit lens. I upgraded from and old Nikon DSLR that worked great but was so much bigger than this camera. I did research and decided this camera was the best compromise for a model with newer tech, even though it isn't current gen, it's a lot better than what I was using. Video in is amazing , 4k looks great and the detail looks professional in some of the videos I've taken. Keep in mind there is no in body stabilization, but a tripod works great , and a gimbal if your planning on being on the move. But this would work great for vlogs or YouTube vids .

I bought this camera because I always wanted to get into photography, and after doing some research I found out that this hobby is very expensive. This camera is not as expensive as others but it allows you to do a lot and get familiar with the basics of photography. At this price point I would highly recommend this camera.

Damn, what a great, light, portable camera—a great everyday camera for street photography. It's a cropped sensor, so you won't get 8 zillion megapixels — but unless you're printing on billboards, you will probably find that its resolution is plenty. And you'll be grateful for the lighter weight. Highly recommend.

This is my first mirrorless camera, and it has been working flawlessly, quiet, and with sharp results. It's relatively fast, at least for my needs. I have previously been using mirror cameras like various Canon, and Nikon models. This Sony is relatively small and light, simple to carry around. That being said, I am not a pro, and cannot evaluate this camera from that standpoint.

No rear lens cap for kit lens. No body cap. Not a big problem at this price point. Replacements easily available here on Amazon.

Switched over from Canon to Sony. This is my first sony camera body and i'm VERY impressed. I might never go back. Very affordable for the quality.

This is my first camera and off the bat this thing was very easy to learn and has been an amazing camera.

I really love this camera and the customer service that they provide. I had to stay in touch with the seller about an issue with the lenses that were included and they solved quickly!!
