I’ve been a long time biker, but this was my first foray into clipless pedals and shoes. I bought these because I wanted something reasonably priced and that didn’t look like cycle shoes. So far I’ve worn these for a half dozen rides - the longest being about and hour. These were comfortable, felt secure, and were easy to clip in and out. I usually wear a 9.5, bought a 9.5 in these and they fit great. My feet are relatively narrow and these run narrow - be mindful of this if you have wider feet - they will be snug.

They are better than what I expected. Beautiful shoe. Great construction and quality. They do run a tad bit small. If you have wide feet this one isn't for you. I have a slightly narrow foot and these feel like they were tailor-made for my feet. I love the options to tailor the arch support by swapping the different arch inserts to get the exact fit you desire. Time will tell regarding how long they last and how durable they really are. My initial impression is one of total satisfaction. I believe they will last years.

Good shoes. Comfortable up to a point. Sole gets a little numb after a few hours of continuous biking. A bit on the small side. I you have very wide feet, this is NOT for you! You won't be able to put the foot inside the shoe! I wear a 42 and got a 43 and it was pretty "fit" and my feet are pretty regular width wise. Once you wear 'em for a while, they feel a bit better but again, these are supposed to be stiff enough to let you pedal your bike with accuracy. Overall a good shoe. Looks nice on the feet and it hides the Shimano SPD cleats fairly well (not 100% as you still hear a bit of clicking as you walk on hard surfaces).

I received the shoes and was pleased to discover that reading through previous reviews is a sound practice when shopping online. As others have stated, I recommend ordering the next size up from the one you usually wear. So, if you normally wear a 42, order the 43. Thankfully, I did exactly that and the shoes are a perfect fit. The shoe itself is comfortable and quite stiff, and it feels solid on the pedals. The Vibram soles are well textured and have a recessed space for the SPD cleats, which minimizes contact with surfaces you may need to walk over or across. The laces and trim are more of an orange than red in colour, but the entire shoe is quite pleasing to look at, and can easily be mistaken for a common street shoe. I highly recommend this item for anyone who rides for transportation or pleasure.

Very nice shoes. I am a size 9, using the sizing chart I bought 43 EU size as instructed. They are very slightly long in the toe, but as expected based on the sizing chart. I think any smaller and they'd be too tight. I have used them on flats so far and they offer decent traction, but not quite as much as I expected. The bottoms are fairly rigid and I feel like I now transfer more energy to the pedals than I did before. I think I am going to try them clip-less and make that plunge. The shoes are very comfortable to wear around and they seem to breathe very well. I can literally feel wind coming in through the toes. Nice shoes.

Bought these shoes for my bicycle commute to work but left them on all day. Never had a new pair of shoes or boots be comfortable all day on first use before, so I'm impressed. I usually wear size 9.5 or 10 American size and prefer wide sizes. If these were wider I would need size 42, but other reviewers said they fit narrow for them. These EU size 43 fit perfect but I have to give credit to the design of the shoe with they way it is cut and the six hole for the laces to adjust the fit. Cleats are recessed so they don't click as I walk on any floor type. Sole is rigid but comfortable enough for all day use. What else can I say but these shoes exceeded my expectations. I'm going to buy another pair.

I was really excited to get these since I have wanted a cleated bike shoe that I could walk in for a long time now. They fit snugly, which is generally a good thing in a bike shoe and the laces allow for flexible adjustments. Then I went for a ride. Within 25 minutes, I developed hot spots on the soles of my feet at the point where the clips met the shoes. The pain got increasingly worse for the remainder of the ride. Afterwards, I found that this condition is a common problem (metatarsalgia) probably because the design has to compromise between flexibility for walking and stiffness for riding. The Giro user manual (!?) that came with the shoes mentions a stiff sole insert with variable arch support called Giro Men's Supernatural Arch Support Fit Kit as a way to make the shoes more comfortable. At $38+, it seems like a pretty expensive fix. I am also a worried that the increase in size will crowd my feet even more. I tried moving the cleats around with no change and then tried my own custom orthotics. I got rid of the hotspots but the orthotics crowded my foot so I returned the shoes.

I am a size 8.5-9. I used the Giro sizing guide, read reviews, and ordered the size 41. My toes were CRAMMED -- so much so that I figure a 42 would be more like it. How how how did people say, "fit perfectly"? The sizing seems so off that I think I'll try to find these shoes in a store where I can try them on.

I wear them as my daily shoes, although I had to change these flashy and ugly orange laces to black ones. They stick correctly to the feet while pedaling and they are very comfortable while walking. Careful :these shoes are very well ventilated, so not the best for temperature below 10°c... Very happy with them.

Il brand non ha di certo bisogno di presentazioni, sono fra i leader del mercato e lo dimostrano anche con questo modello, buono per le pedalate di tutti i giorni, adatto anche per brevi passeggiate perché molto comode, le tacchette non si sentono per niente. Il modello è casual e può essere indossato anche con i jeans perché non assomigliano ai modelli tecnici (eventualmente basta sostituire i lacci con un paio neri). Io consiglio di comprare un numero in più rispetto a quelle delle sneakers perché vestono strettino (io ho in 42 e ho comprato il 43: perfette).

Comfort and fit is excellent. Bottom soles are very hard and not great on studded bike pedals. Also hard to walk in loose terrain. Great shoe for dry trail and stiff terrain. More tread on the sole would be a vast improvement

Moin zusammen, den Giro Rumble VR kann ich jedem Radelfahrer nur ans Herz legen. Die Optik und Verarbeitung ist mega! Der Vorteil zu klassischen Radschuhen, er fällt nicht auf, sieht aus wie ein Sneaker-Schuh, trägt sich bequem und lässt durch den Mash-Einsatz viel Luft an die Füße. Im Vergleich zu normalen Schuhen ist die Sohle um einiges steifer, weshalb längere Passagen zu Fuß deutlich schwieriger aber dennoch gut zu bewältigen sind. Der Giro Rumble fällt sehr schmal aus und sollte daher mindestens eine Nummer größer als regulär gewählt werden, um später keine Probleme auf dem Rad zu haben. Fahre nun fast ein Jahr mit diesem Schuh und habe keinerlei Probleme oder Beanstandungen. Von mir eine definitive Kaufempfehlung!!!
