This is the third book of the series and I hope for more!! These books are for those of us that loved the C. S. Foreters Hornblower series or all of thwe Alexander Kent novels. This is simply some of the best new age of sail books in a long time. The stories and characters hold you attention and you do not catch yourself skipping pages ahead to find the action again. If you are looking for a good book to read, pick up these 3 books and discover good reading again!!

Another very firestorm of the fighting Anthony's . Brother uncle and half brother all fingering for the British during the American revolution. I've now read the first four in the series and there is a lot of battles along with human interest stories. An enjoyable read. I

This series is one of the better ones I've read about the old British navy. It is well written and keeps your interest up from start to finish.

All the characters we've met and have grown to love continue developing with the trials they endure and the celebrations they share. Huzzah, huzzah!

Really enjoyed the 4th book in the series. The books keep getting better. The characters are now entrenched in my memory. Can't wait to find out what happens next.

Plots are interesting enough to keep young readers interested, but few adults will enjoy it. Also badly needs a good copy editor.

Would have prefered some more action.... kind of dragged in places.

Another great story following the fortunes of the Anthony's and roughly following the historic timeline and events - no need to make anything up, the Royal Navy have already done it! :-)

If you have read books 1,2 &3 you must read this one. Then you can carry on and complete the series.

slow at first but gets hot later, anther good read.

Another exciting adventure for the Anthony's. Just as enjoyable as the previous books. I am now reading book five.
