Pirastro Schwarz Violin Rosin

Great rosin. Nothing special but does its job!!

It is a great cello rosin and produces a big sound. It grips the strings quite easily. Be prepared for more rosin dust than normal.

Good violin rosin. I would like it were cheaper. My daughter uses it for her violin classes.

Good standard violin rosin

This rosin is great. I can't say much because I'm a total beginner at violin. I thought it would be at least a little larger, but never mind. Like I said, I have no experience with these things, but as far as I can see, it's a quality rosin and easy to handle, and also protected enough by the packaging, unlike some cheap varieties. I recommend it. Except the size, it totally fulfilled my expectations.

This rosin has way better grip than Pirastro Goldflex. Schwarz Rosin produces a warm mellow, powerful sound. This rosin allows me to perform crystal clear bowings without scratch. Spicatto is much easier too :) I have to say, this rosin is by far the best rosin that i've ever used! Schwarz rosin pairs perfectly with Pirastro Chromcor Violin Strings. If you are in need of a somewhat cheap violin rosin, this is the way to go. :)

Great product

I got some rosin from the little music store I bought my violin at 3 years ago. It was running low, so I decided to order some online, as the music store is an hour away and has a very small selection (small town.) My rosin was approx. $5, so I decided to spend 10 extra and get this. I didn't think rosin would make much of a difference, but I was very very wrong. This rosin produces an amazing tone, is fairly easy to apply, and doesn't leave near as much dust. As a bonus, it smells much much better than my old rosin. It smells like tree resin, which is a lot better then chemicals. 11/10 Game of the Year (IGN)
