This little dog is so warm to hold! Has a nice curvature to the bodice, making it nice and easy for little hands to hold. It even smells like fresh cut wood! SO beautifully finished and painted- a wonderful addition to any waldorf toy collection.

Arrived on time-but children disappointed with new Holztiger additions "appearance"-but quality ok
Bought as a present from an older child to toddler for Christmas present. Older children expressed disappointment in toys appearance; which is a shame as they love the other Holztiger toys particularly the crocodile bought recently. I note other buyers indicate disappointment with the "small dog" hence buying this version. It is still nice wood and same finish quality- it just feels overpriced and well lacks interest/play appeal as mans best friend? it needs a rethink Holztiger!! The Elephant/peacock/horse/sheep & camels are better value in my view, provided you buy at a sensible price. I would reiterate that this is much better than a cheapo, similar priced plastic alternative - it just has not the same appeal as other Holztiger toys- which have been great and are muched loved. Should remain playworthy for the next hundred plus years if you look after it!
