Good quality Duty Belt for LEOs
Iโve certainly heard of Acker duty belts, but this is the first of this brand Iโve actually owned. Iโve been in LE for approximately 20 years, and Iโve only owned 3 belts in that time, which is a testemant to the ones I have owned I guess. It seem like all of the name brand belts such as Safariland are now selling the synthetic belts instead of real leather.. I wanted my real leather as Iโve worn for the past 2 decades. Acker was one of the few brands that still have a quality product and real leather out there. This belt is the thickness that Iโve grown accustomed to over the years and about the same quality. Iโve heard that some of the newer ones use very thin, seemingly cheap belts, thatโs not the case with this one. Buy with confidence. Acker has been wrapped around cops for years. I definitely would and I definitely will reccomend this belt to the guys at my precinct.

Different but not bad
I'm not sure if I'm just use to the nylon for so many years. This one looks nice feels nice. I wear a 36 and ordered a 38, I'm on the last notch so I wished I got the 40. The belt is thinner than the nylons I like that part. Missing a star because I'm not a fan of the hook system. It's secure for sure, just been spoiled with the click belts.

Superior Sam Browne Belt
After 21 years in law enforcement, this has been the most difficult review I had to write. Compared to other Sam Browne brands this Aker belt ranks high. For the past 21 years I have used a Don Hume Sam Browne Belt. Correct. One belt. It was an amazing belt. And after years of wear and tear, I had to purchase another one. But the problem is it is hard to locate Don Hume products! They sell fast. And the Don Hume Sam Browne Belt was on back order for months through multiple websites. Luckily, I had purchased an Aker pancake holster and I liked the quality leather. That is when I bought an Aker Sam Browne. Please make sure you order a size bigger because it is not made "sized to fit." For example, if you wear a size "40", order a "42." Overall, the leather is made of high quality. The stiching is perfect also. I will definitely purchase more Aker products and recommend this item to my brothers and sister in law enforcement. Aker thumbs up on this belt!

Terrible
Super thin and the hooks are completely garbage.

First time duty belt owner
Bought for non-LEO use. This thing is awesome!! Sturdy and looks great. Combine with matching belt keepers and youโve got a beautiful rig. Other Velcro/nylon/plastic belts might be easier to use but this is so classic. Leather loosens up and you get use to the clasping system.

Decent
Decent looking belt but seems way to thin. Would give 5 stars if the price reflected this. Maybe worth $45.00 but not $60+.

Although the leather was a bit dry making the belt a bit stiff, it does look great.... I play in a police pipes and drums band and I wear the duty belt with the kilt in a semi formal appearance. Great looking and very lucky with the price I paid.... thanks a bunch

I'm currently 3 years in wearing this belt; while the leather has started to crease a little and start to wear, it's really stood up (60 hours a week for 3 years) with no sign of needing replacement. I have since recommended the belt to others, who have bought it, and been equally happy. I noticed (switching from Nylon to Leather for the first time) that the Leather is noticeably less comfortable and more rigid than Nylon, but it really stands out when you wear leather as proper, professional deportment.
