What is the difference between the biofill bioturf and bioturf bios+?

Biofill is our granular product which is utilized for even distribution throughout the turf to sink down into the turf blades to help absorb odor that gases off (best applied when turf is dry). Bioturf BioS+ is our liquid deodorizer which is utilized to help proactively mitigate the odor by neutralizing the bacteria that causes the odor and should be the last step applied to your turf system. In our servicing we normally manually bloom and work the turf, then evenly distribute the granular (if needed) and finally flood the turf system and spray the deodorizer liquid. Depending on the square footage of turf, age of turf and number of dogs utilizing the turf area with concentration of urine/urea will determine which product to utilize more of (as a dog owner I apply granular infill twice a year as it does not dissolve, but I utilize liquid every month).

Is this a powder? If so, do you dissolve it with water and then apply? How much will a 5 gallon bucket treat?

This is a liquid. It is best if you have the spray bottle that you get with the smaller orders. You fill the spray bottle and attach a hose. Be sure to saturate the lawn with plain water first. It will treat a LOT, but I don't know how much. My lawn still smells, but we haven't had rain for a very long time and the pet urine has soaked into the decomposed granite. I use it every week.
