I started using this product on Day 0, and by Day 1 my hands already felt softer, protected, and less sore. It absorbs quickly, isn’t greasy, and gives instant relief 😅. There’s a tiny stinging at first, but it settles quickly. I’ve included photos from Day 0–2 so you can see the improvement over time with consistent use. The bottle and base are a bit bulky, but it pumps well, saves time, and I don’t need a separate barrier cream. I suffered facial dermatitis for a year and this has been instrumental in my rehabilitation. My skin is more or less back to normal but requires a regime of applying emollients such as Doublebase. All in al I am very happy with this product which I wholly recommend.

My son has always suffered with Eczema since he was little , hes now a teenager so gets frustrated with his forever flare ups. His usual double base wasn't ready at the chemist so ordered this after reading reviews. He was only using for 2 days and his flare ups have hugely gone down, no longer red and his skin looks so much more healthy. He actually said he prefers this cream to his normal so will continue buying this.

Its a bit greasy, like the feeling of sun cream, but does provide a good barrier to the skin and works well for dry skin.

I use the double base gel 4 times a day everyday and that is mostly enough to keep my eczema in the pink annoying stage but this time that wasn't happening and over night I awoke and it was popping off all over my body cracking, splitting and bleeding (arm pictures only - sorry folks lol). I decided on a hope and a whim to buy this and see. The fact that in 5 days of treatment my skin went from hell and cracking to uncomfortable to manageable and breathable. This clearly shows it is made to treat atleast eczema prone skin and works well. For the bottle the prize it's amazing and with the size lasts a long time. I was told 12 week minimum for my GP to get back to me, so I bought this and skipped using uncomfortable, skin thinning steroid creams I usually get and I'm more than happy.

I'm so happy with this cream. I've been through so many that don't help my skin. On 1st use this helped my skin. That awful sensation that my skin was going to split open calmed down as soon as my husband put it on my legs. It calmed & moistured immediately . Glided over my skin , was absorbed quite quickly too. Been using for over 1 week now & will reorder when needed. Value size for the price. Highly recommend.
