This knife exceeded my expectations. It is smaller and thinner than expected, almost like a scalpel compared to the other hunting knives I have. Real precision, the plade is shaped like a filet knife but much thicker and no flex. Really good for precision cuts and bone trimming. The fit and finnish far exceededs the $22.00 price point. I am very impressed.

I ordered this knife with full knowledge that it is medium grade stainless steel, and made in China. I wanted a low-maintenance skinner for deer that would be inexpensive, to not be badly missed if lost. This knife fulfills those requirements. It is compact, but formidable for its designed purpose, and the quality seems solid. Now- here's the rub: It comes with a decent cowhide sheath, that has a keeper strap of the same leather, secured a metal snap. It closely mimics the original Made in USA design. But the keeper strap is secured with a metal rivet INSIDE of the holster. As a result, every time I attempt to draw the knife from the sheath, the gut hook HANGS UP on the metal rivet. That is why I gave this knife only four stars.

Purchased this knife for my adult son. He was impressed with the knife quality. It is sharp, and has great functionality with the gut hook. I think it is a great value for the money.

Great little skinner for the price.

Gutted to deer with it with ease , wasent to sharp when I got it . After sharpening it it performed flawlessly , but after two deer back to back it was pretty dull . Had to re sharpen it , I’d recommend it great little gutting knife , nice leather sheath, price is good

Good quality sheath and knife.

Used this knife to Field dress a white tail deer. Worked wonderfully. Gut hook made making the incision along the belly easy and I didn't have to worry about cutting the deers stomach. Cutting through all that fur did dull the gut hook after so I didn't get much useful use of that feature during the process after the long incision along the belly. That is to be expected though based on my experience with other knives. The blade shape and short length made this a great tool for working in the close confines of the deer carcass. The shorter blade length also greatly reduced the risk of cutting my other hand and aloud me to work in close, this prevented any miscuts and made the knife easy and accurate to use. The main blade of the knife remained sharp and was still sharp after the task. 100% would recommend this knife for hunters. The sheath works well and the knife is compact and lightweight. Utility vs weight and space it takes up this knife is definitely worthing adding to the belt.

haven’t gotten to use it yet where hunting season just ended but feels like a great quality knife that I’m super psyched to try out next year. Mine also came ready to go, super sharp straight out of the box.
