Rubies Prisoner Pet Costume for Dogs or Cats, Small

Based on a review I decided to size down and get a Large instead of a XL for my girl. I'm not taking off any stars because the costume was cute and I felt like it was good quality. It was my error for not going with a XL. I couldn't get her back legs in the costume without it being incredibly tight on her, so I just tucked the back in and had her wear it like a shirt. Overall my dog looked adorable and was comfortable and I got a few good laughs.

I got this for my Pomeranian for Halloween. He looks so cute in it! I got size large for him since I wasn’t sure how the fitting would be. For reference, he is about six pounds. It is a little big on his hind legs, so his legs fall out of the holes since it is a onesie. Other than that, I love this costume!

Costume is fine. The large is pretty large though. I think it’s always hard to size. My Bugg is 20 pounds and it was definitely too big for her.

Poorly designed. Our male dog peed all over the stomach area. And there was no way to prevent it from happening as it’s designed like a sagging bucket. First and last time we put him in something designed like this. Very disappointed as our two dogs’ costumes are always coordinated and we had to take his off right at the beginning of trick or treating, leaving our other dog as the lonely cop to their cop and robber duo. Definitely staying away from this design flaw when shopping for his next costume.

I got these for my dogs for Halloween and took a video for social media. It got so many views and comments. The dogs didn't mind wearing them either haha!

Size chat is off it bigger than what it says

I got this for my 10lb Morkie to wear for a funny father's day gift (my boyfriend is his dog daddy :). It also worked for a work photo contest of our pets. I would probably size down to a Medium for 10-15lb (my other Yorkie was able to wear it too but it was baggy). The hat is very hard to keep on though, but it does make a great jail costume for the cage & when playing "Bad to the Bone".

SO cute, fit great, my purebred GSD is 10 years old, and he was 110 pounds, it fit him perfect. I got the extra large, he had just had massive back surgery so did not put on him for the photo, sadly we lost him to DM . Trust me he was never a bad dog, I always dressed him ever halloween. Came fast, good quality,beyond cute, will wear on my other GSD dogs, had to put stuffing it the hat to keep it's shape while on the dog, good price

I bought this XL for my 53lb (fluffy) Australian Shepherd, and it fits great. The outfit itself is a bit long/loose around her belly/back end area but from the measurements provided, im sure the large wouldve been too short/tight. The hat has an adjustable chin strap, which is great for her tiny little head (considering nothing has ever stayed on it in the past) Overall, I'm very pleased with how the costume fits her, and can't wait to dress up as a police officer with her as my prisoner, stick her in an outdoor fenced-in pen area, and greet all the kids with candy on Halloween night! -side note, once i got everything on, she was essentially frozen in place and I couldnt figure out why as shes been in outfits/costumes before. Then I took the hat off and she started running around again 😂😂
