I had never cut my own hair before - or anyone else's for that matter. However, lockdown had left my hair hanging unceremoniously down to my lower back in length and as thick as it is it was also not healthy, knotted regularly and was fragile. So I needed a cut, and these scissors arrived to what I must say were fairly low expectations. However, the second I took them out of the package:High quality - they feel heavy, enough to manoeuvre with precision. They come with plastic rings already in place so there's no discomfort if you - like me - needed a good few hours to trim.Cutting - sharp, precise and swift. My hair is thick but also naturally very straight, so I was able to chop with control to my heart's desire.I am very impressed with these scissors. I was able to give myself a layered, choppy cut that many people have commented looks like a professional did it. Now my hair is lighter and feels healthier.Definitely worth the price. It's also worth noting that I was able to do a technique that I think my previous hairdresser called feathering, which allows you to create a linear layer around the shape of your face.

During this Covid-19 lock down, I needed a hair cut badly. The old kitchen scissors just were not up to the task. So I read reviews and bought these scissors. They are really sharp and I now have neater hair. I am not sure quite what a professional hair dresser would say about my efforts, but I am rather pleased. These are very nice scissors. And they came with a very nice note about their being careful in packaging them during these strange times we are finding ourselves in with this virus. Lovely polite touch. I am very pleased and they did not cost a fortune, either.

I have long, wavy/straight, medium thickness hair. It's in good condition, but the ends were desperate for a trim. My layers had grown out and I had enough of hacking at my fringe with the kitchen scissors. I searched amazon to see if there were any decent hair scissors and came across these. Cheap as chips, so not much to lose if they weren't good. I am so impressed and now I wonder how I ever coped without them!I know it's obvious to most people....but the difference in the cut compared to my kitchen scissors is absolutely incredible. Rather than hacking my ends off and making it look dull and dry, these scissors cut it in such a way that leaves my ends feeling so healthy and soft. They also "thin" out the ends by cutting into them with ease, so there's not a blunt cut.I very rarely go to the hairdresser as my long hair is fairly low maintenance and is in good condition. I've been cutting my hair for a while now (with kitchen scissors) so i'm familiar with the do's and don'ts and how to add layers etc. These scissors are a game changer for how easy this now is! Especially with long hair too. My side fringe has nice shape/flick back to it, my ends look healthy and my layers are lovely and soft again.I have small hands, so the scissors are extremely comfortable for me to hold, they don't slip and they are nice and lightweight...the perfect size so as not to be cumbersome. I can imagine people with larger hands may have a little more difficulty. I would highly recommend these as i'm so chuffed!

Mainly used these on my dog but very sharp, accurate and durable. Would recommend! The pouch is really handy too!

1st pair proper hair scissors I've bought. Been cutting my own hair since just before covid (long & straight) with kitchen shears which has been good to be fair but am aware ends aren't that neat. These scissors are great..so light, easy to hold, come in lovely pouch & are a great price! Great value for money. Give the professional finish I was looking for.Wont ever be back at hairdressers now😆

Perfect for trimming head hair.

My wife has just used these scissors to cut the top of my hair. I can't shave the top due to my widows peak. So I normally have a 4 on the back and sides and cut short on the top. I entrusted my wife to cut the short on the top bit with these scissors. She made a great job of it just like the barber, or stylist should I say. The scissors look and perform really well they are very sharp and for all I know may be used by professionals, they certainly look the part.What I did appreciate is the supplier put a note with them, apologising for the slightly late delivery, explaining this was due to COVID 19 and was completely understandable.Great scissors reasonably priced, I may not need to back to my barbers when lock down is over...probably will though.
