When I replaced the filter the old O ring looked fine so I didn't replace it
I bought an older home with a GE whole house filter, I took the numbers off the housing and searched on Amazon and this O ring came up. When I replaced the filter the old O ring looked fine so I didn't replace it, however, the new one looked correct and I kept it for a spare.

fits perfect on my GE water filter
Others may say it's just an o-ring but it's an o-ring that fits! I bought one from a website that specializes in filters and it was a little big and every time i changed my filter I had to fight with the o-ring slipping out of the grove. This one fits perfect!

Prices on Amazon and quantity in package on last ordered placed on Prime incorrect.
First, I noticed that the price compared to my last purchase on this order has increased substantially,Second, this item was featured originally at (2) rings not one. I contacted GE Appliance division and they confirmed that the "O" Rinf WS03X10038 comes as a (2 in a pack). The old GE catalog number was UC RING) . The price should be $ 8.83 for (2) not one. I received jusy "one" ring in the packcage. Please correct my invoice ( AMEX) for credit.I've noticed that my one package must have been re-packed and I can swear I ordered (2) packs of FXWPC GE water filters and only received (1) pack of 2. This is what happen with you get * ONE DAY DELIVERY) Thank you

Fit perfect. The generic ones in store say they'll fit but didn't. Just a fraction off can keep it from a good seal.

Way Overpriced
Consider the material cost and the rate at which these are cranked out. Yes they work fine, but at > $9 each they are too expensive. Consider as an alternative, a 25-pack of basically the same thing (slightly higher durometer but they work great) from McMaster-Carr, Buna-N O-Ring, 3 mm width, 84 mm ID for $11. Yes that's right, 95% lower price. This would be McMaster number 9262K759.
