Used this to outline the aero on my car. Used it for something different for what it was originally intended for. But I can say without a doubt that the color does not fade or yellow out and that it is relatively easy to clean. Adhesion is not the best but does good enough if you dont stretch it too much for apply it to heavy curves and sharp edges.

I want to like this stuff but it's just too difficult to work with. It's smaller than most of the other trim I have used and wouldn't stay in place at all. I would press it on and it would literally pop off like a tiny pair of shoes on a large lady's feet. The adhesive is some kind cheap substance, most likely Chinesium. If I finally got the trim to stay the adhesive is so weak it wouldn't stay there for long. I can think of a lot of things LESS frustrating than applying this trim. A few of them even involve a sharp stick in the eye. Trust me, you are better off looking elsewhere.

This was more flexible than the pre-package pre-cut kind. A better value. The only minus was that the backer over the adhesive was a bit hard to remove [less than a 1/10 of a point off for that]. I give it a 99.9 out of 100.

Installed this on the doors of my ‘18 Malibu. It’s cheap but it looks like it will do the job. Install took about 30-45 min, anyone can do it. Garage is tight so we tend to bump the other car. Reason for purchase. Maybe the heat will tighten it better on the door. I’ll update it a few months.

I did not go below 3 stars and will not return the item, because this item seems to match design and dimensions of the description. I would not, however, recommend this item unless you will be using it on something extremely thin. When ordering, I didn't quite fathom how small it would be from the description. Combined with poor 2-sided tape inside to hold in place, it is not likely to be useful for even the automotive purpose described. I ended up trying it to cover the edge of some mirrored glass, and even that was a bit too wide for it and there is poor adhesion even in a dry environment. I would not expect it to stay on long out in the weather if used on a car.

Excellent product and seller

I ordered the white trim for a Plexiglas divider for my van. This trim was to go around the edge of the glass for protection. In the pictures it shows a product trim that is flatter. What I received was a tightly wound coil of trim. It took me an hour to install due to having to manually open up the trim so it would go on either side of the flat edge. I had to go no more than every 4 inches to open and then press really hard to get it to go around the edge and stay affixed. The adhesive wasn't very sticky and I'm hoping this stays attached. I realize it's mainly for autos and I will not order this product again from this supplier.

Used this to replace some white door trim we installed more than 8 years ago. It had turned a yellowish colour and became very obvious against our white body paint. This is thinner, not as wide, and a perfect match with the white of my Toyota,, so it “disappears” without sacrificing the protection it offers the car door edges. The glue is good and strong. The strip is very flexible and easy to instal in longe curved sections.. 💕 Love it!
