What exactly does this do?

Cold Air Intake for 5.7L engine is a unique design drawing air from the front of the vehicle behind the cooling module. Aesthetically appealing with a RAMAirFlow call out. Highly efficient design that contributes to a slight increase in horsepower. Available for sale and to be used only in states that do no require EO certification. This bolt-on system is designed to allow cooler outside air in through a directional cone filter and funnel it directly into the intake manifold. This kit provides noticeable horsepower and torque gains under varying atmospheric conditions.

Does it fit a 2021 ram rebel

It fit my 22 Laramie 5.7 no e-torque so if you have the same it will fit

Does this require sport hood or will the standard hood clear?

It does NOT require the sport hood. It will work with the standard hood.

Do you need a special hood to use this? I have a 2019 Bighorn

No special hood required. It will fit 5th gen Ram with 5.7 Hemi

Easy install- about an hour with basic tools and knowledgeFits 22 Ram 5.7L NO start/stopNot crazy powerful but the power seems more readily available. Less lag when pushing on gas pedal.1mpg city, 3 mpg highway

Looks good. But that’s about it

I have not noticed any change in MPG which is the only reason I bought this, but missed the return date. I drive almost only highway so I thought for sure it’d go up at least 1 mph, but nothingOthers reported up to 3 mpg better on the highway but it’s done nothing at all, if anything it’s gone done cause I used to be able to get 18 and I haven’t seen that since before installing this, but there’s possibly other factors to that

Excellent MOPAR product. Easy install.

Comes in a large box, contains everything for a perfect factory looking install. With this product some exhaust work, and top off with a tuner you now have a healthy happy HEMI!
