My grandson loves this foam blaster hand gun. It is good for indoors in the play room or outside.

Fun toy, but it's hard to pull the back part to "cock" the gun...and the gun shoots pretty hard. You would not want this gun for kids to shoot/play with each other. I know that sounds "duh," but it has a pretty powerful shot.

I bought this with the assumption that this knock-off would hopefully prove to be as good if not better than the nerf firestrike. Whereas the firestrike provides outstanding range, reasonable accuracy and an integrated laser pointer, this blaze storm blaster goes about 20-25 feet flat with the provided darts, or 40 angled. The claim for 80 foot ranges is absolutely absurd. The gun is more expensive than the firestrike even though the internals are of a terrible quality, which contributes to its mediocre ranges. As a modder, I tried replacing the gun's internals with those of a firestrike's, but the performance is surprisingly hardly improved. There is no redeeming feature for this gun save the fact that it is slightly bigger (and lighter, meaning the plastic is low-grade) and holds four darts compared to the firestrike's two. Note: This blaster isn't 100% compatible with nerf elite darts. The barrel is too large and unable to form an effective seal around the dart before firing, leading to huge air loss.If you're getting this item as a present for a child, it might be wiser to look into the n-strike line that NERF has. If you're a competitive HvZ nerfer and are up-to-date with the reviews for all the recent releases and are wondering why there's yet to be one for this cheap, overpriced replica of the nerf firestrike, now you know.

Expected it to b bigger very deceiving

The Blaze Storm Pistol is a great HvZ sidearm. It persons just as powerful in it's stock form against the Nerf Firestrike, however with one big advantage. The ability to store an increased ammo capacity in the blaster makes it a more logical choice over to there blasters that carry, well, less ammo! Highly recommended for college HvZ players looking for a sidearm, or a concealed carry blaster in your backpack between missions, also fits very well in a variety of holsters, most notably the Condor Tornado.

Well I have one happy nephew on my hands! He absolutely adores this new toy and has been out in the garden in the lovely sunshine shooting everything that moves (including me). It looks as though the toy is well made and good value for money.

Nerf gun worked as expected. It's a small toy gun.
