I Haz Lotsa Happiez. (For those not in a silly mood as I am: This was much better than I was expecting, and I'm quite elated.)
I wound up with a Hitachi UltraStar 2TB 7200rpm w/32M Cache, and I'm happy as a pig in sh... um... mud, yeah. ;) I was expecting a 2TB 5400rpm 16M cache 'whoknowswhatbrand' drive, and was happy with that, since it was gonna be loaded up and locked away as an off-side backup... but I think I'll take my two 1TB WD Green drives and lock those up as backups, and use this as an every day usage, since it's faster, has more cache, and is meant for 24/7 usage, as the Greens really aren't... I might load up one with backups (1TB might be enough for the true backup/old stuff) and have the other internal for backup and just unplug it but leave it in in case I need access. I dunno, but I like the fact that I have more choices, and that I got a better drive than I was expecting. I'll order from them again in a heartbeat. Shipping was 2 days early, the price was freakin unbeatable, and I've had a cheesy grin on my face since I opened the package. It probably won't go away for a while, either. I love you, Amazon. *gigglesn0rtz*

A lucky gamble
I got a Dell hard drive in the mail, 2TB with a 7200 rpm speed and was made in the first of March, 2014, so it really is a gamble on what you're buying here. The drive is working pretty well, a bit loud at seeking, silent at spinning but I got drives that are as loud as this one is. So really depends on your luck. If it doesn't go well, then you can always return it and get your money back.

(2019) Failed at 5 year mark in NAS - (2024) - 5900RPM Drive
(2019 Drives) I had ordered 2 of these drives for a NAS which is very disk-intensive and the drive gave me SMART failure messages at the nearly 5 year point (the other one is still running). I'm considering that a "win" given the no-name brand, price and heavy duty 24-7 operation. When the next one fails, I will consider replacing it with another one. (2024) I ordered another one hoping to get the same/similar drive, but instead I got a 5900 RPM drive instead of the specific 7200 RPM drive that I was looking for. I have since dropped my review down to 4 stars because this is highly deceptive. The drive is a Seagate Video 3.5 2TB Model #ST2000VM003. The good thing is that the drive DOES appear to be new (unless SMART data has been manipulated) and installed properly, passed short and long term drive tests as well as some data copying. The drive will not be in use until one of my 2 other NAS drives fail so that will likely be outside of return time but I'm hoping there will be no issues for it. At this point, I would not recommend it because the listing is no longer correct. You are NOT getting a white label drive like a Dell or no-name brand, but instead are getting whatever the seller wants to sell you. I could actually find this drive a few dollars cheaper looking for it directly and again, the reason I paid more was because of the 7200 RPM speed. Since the drive seems to work, I won't return it and go through that hassle but I'm not happy. If the seller contacts me and either a partial refund or send me a 7200 RPM drive, I'll add more details to this review but otherwise I no longer recommend this.

Great Hardrives for The Price
Great Hardrives for the Price! I got 2 of these and the performance is nearly identical on both, WL2000GSA6472E, and from what I been reading when I did a google search on this model its the exact same as a Western Digital RE4, so these are high quality enterprise hardrives, designed to take very very long run times, it should last me forever cause I'm using mine in a Mediasonic Probox (external backup) so the hours of runtime will stay really low on it. Excellent Packaging and very fast shipping too from the seller, got it from goharddrive.com I couldn't be happier, I'm gonna order some more these drives when I can. PS: for those shopping for hardrives here is a useful article: >>>> https://www.backblaze.com/blog/best-hard-drive/ <<<< I recommending staying with 2TB if you want lifetime, cause 3TB and larger drives have a crap lifetime, I'm not getting larger drives until these stats improve

Very Nice - Thanks
Quietest hard drive I've come across so far. I moved 128GB right away from my laptop. Most of my HDD's are Samsung 1 TB. This 2 TB will store lots of data and be accessed to play movies and music. Its sitting in a StarTech USB 2.0 docking station. I received a Seagate Constellation in two days. The drive was sealed and placed in a USPS mailer, bubble wrapped, and placed in a USPS heavy envelope. No sign of damage on the package. Hats off to the team that sold this.

Noisy SOB
The drive works, it replaced a failed drive in my RAID array. I fear for this drive though...my array does very little, some incremental backups with a weekly full. While my array is fully working again and not degraded, I am listening to it constantly. This is the loudest hard disk drive I have heard in the last 10 years and unfortunately for me, I have heard over 10,000 of them. So 3 stars for now because it is helping to mirror my backups, but a drive that makes the noise of a HDD made 20 years ago doesn't instill confidence in me and is very annoying to listen to while I work.

These are my go to drives
I have purchased 3 of these drives in the past couple years. The first was for my plex server/itunes storage. Going from ~500 gb to 2tb. The second was for my failing HDD for my operating system on the same computer. The 3rd was recently when I found an OG Xbox for cheap and decided to softmod it and this was my go to. They are cheap enough that if one does fail, it is not a huge loss. But I have yet to have that happen.
