I use these scissors for my infant 2-4 months old and my toddler (2 yrs) and it hasn't cut their skin not once. They are sharp blades, more than I initially felt comfortable using for an infant but I've been fortunate enough that the blades haven't knicked anyone, if you have a baby that holds still you'll be fine but if your baby is wriggly then be more careful, at least that's what I do because they are little more strong than other baby scissors I've used. In comparison, my other baby scissors were similar to this but made me feel more confident that the probably of a knick is practically none because the blades aren't as thick, strong and precise as these. They are perfect quality though. Safety I'd rate 3/5 because they do make me a bit nervous at times unlike the other pair I own.

My baby has gotten super frustrated with the electric file, the popular one. I kind of get it because i feel the same way, i do not like the sensation and so him, being a baby, i guess it is just too much. So glad i found these! Today, after weeks of broken off and infected nails i sat him down and managed to finally cut his nails. These are really great and cut like butter. I have to sit him in a chair with his table though, so he is secure. What happened at first was, i had him stand in front of me and as i was cutting his nails he slammed his head into my lap while these scissors were pointing up and for couple of seconds i was sure i blinded him! But PHEWS, no. So anyways, i now sit him with a table in front of him and stand off the side and cut while his hands are on the table and it is the best thing ever. I speak very highly about the product because typically using nail scissors has been an issue for me as a child; i remember how my nails used to bend as my mom held my hand down and cut mine back in the day and that, do this day, has made it impossible for me to get manicures or let anyone touch my hands or feet. But these scissors are nothing like this, they are small and smooth and even someone like me with loads of issues in this area is super pleased using them. Highly recommend!!!! I tried nail clipper in the past for him too and that chopped some skin off; apparently that’s inevitable with clippers and babies because they move and everything is just too small. Anyways, this is the solution for me moving forward and i love it!! My baby is 9 months

It really feels completely safe to cut the baby’s nails, not like with the nail clippers

I couldn’t find the curved blade one so I bought this one, not easy to use. Eventually I switched back to a clipper.

Great scissors for both fingers and toes.Very safe and easy to use. Even though my wife was a bit skeptical at the beginning, because of their funny shape/size, she loved them after the first use.

They’re very sharp but also safe because of the round tip on the blade. They’ve lasted me for a long time now and are the easiest to handle compared to any others I’ve tried.
