Very good CIC exam prep material
I love Mometrix! Their practice tests helped me ace the CIC exam on my first try. I would highly recommend using their material for your test prep!

Upon receiving the book, I skimmed at the questions and the answers which I found are very helpful and informative.They provide thorough explanation to come up with the correct answer/answers.

I'd buy it again!
The information was okay however the Exam Questions didn't correlate with the practice questions very well. There may have been a few similarities, but nothing that would jump out at you and say "hey, you studied this question" or version of it. It would be much more helpful if it had more Employee Health questions to review for those who are strictly Infection Prevention and do not perform the function of Employee Health Nurse/personnel. I did love the rationale that accompanied the correct answers. I was very pleased with my existing knowledge when answering all of the practice questions. With rare exception, I nailed them all and the ones I missed, the rationale explained why I vacillated between the "two most right answers". Bottom line, if you go into the CIC Exam expecting to see ANY of the questions or versions of the questions in the practice exam book...DON'T. You'll be very disappointed. Make sure you remember your Employee Health information, your CURRENT lab practices vs BEST practices and LAST NOTE...The test questions were supposed to change at the First of the 2017 year. I saw a lot of complaints about the pages coming out and the cheapness of the quality. It's true, the sturdiness of the book doesn't feel like it could handle a full semester or even a quarter of school, but for evening studying? It's just fine! Good Luck and remember it's all fun!

Seriously disappointed in this product
I purchased this book based upon the rave reviews. What I found was a lot of typos and beware the answer key. For instance, if the question asked for the sum of 2+2 and your options are a. 2, b. 3, c. 4, d. 5. Obviously, you would pick c. The answer key would tell you that the correct answer is d. The sum of 2+2=4. There were too many discrepancies to know if the information was valid and I ended up throwing the book out in disgust. This seems to be the case with every study book I purchased, except for the actual APIC review guide. I don't know how this book gets 5 stars.
