Cute little lights! Sturdy and very well made. They were not easy to put together at first, but once I figured it out, it was fine. Took them camping and they held up very well. I can see these lasting for several years. They are not cheaply made, they will hold up.

Beautiful addition to my outdoor light collection. I did buy others with the same pleasing results. However one set of flip flop lights were not so bright and with in a month stopped lighting altogether even though electricity flowed through them. Defective sockets have to be the culprit. So if you purchase these and they aren’t bright return them quickly.

We use these string lights at night to provide a low light and warm ambiance to wind down before bed. Although you have to assemble these before putting them up, it was super easy and the little lanterns are actually fabric instead of paper, making it great quality and hopefully long lasting. The size and length is perfect and they don’t tangle easy. I love the look of them, as the light is warm and soft as opposed to cool and harsh. So cute and highly recommend!

Not easy to assemble. I finally separated the twisted wires to only put the wires attached to the bulbs into the gripping part, and used the end of a pair of office scissors to force the grips open. That made it a lot easier It takes strong fingers and some time, but they look good when finally assembled. The globes are woven plastic fabric and should hold up well, I think, while still giving a papery effect. Like all string lights, it's 8 feet when fully stretched out but you're going to get less than that hung up. I stretched out some of the kinks before hanging.

I've purchased lantern string lights in the past, with metal supports that go inside the lantern. They were tedious to put together, but doable. Not these! I spent 15 minutes on one of them, and gave up, because I have 19 more to go. The instructions tell you to "prop the bracket open, and slide the wick onto the top of the bracket". WICK? The photo showing that stage of the assembly process is approximately 1 1/4" by 1 7/8", and the detail is about 1/8" x 1/8". And there is no way you can tell what the person is doing in the photograph. It's a shame, what a waste of time. The lanterns themselves are very attractive, I don't have the time or patience to mess with them. Zero stars.

Once you put the lanterns together which is tricky, they are really nice. They are also LED lights which should last for years, not like the older plug in christmas tree lights which when one light goes out the whole line goes out. .

These are cute once you finally get them assembled, but very fragile and I don't see them lasting very long. They come in a tiny box with the "paper" jack o lanterns all collapsed flat, the "brackets" to hold the light in each lantern separate and loose, the string/cord of those lights, and "instructions". So, be prepared to do some tedious assembly. The instructions are not very helpful, for example when referring to inserting the light string cord into the bracket holder they use the word "wick" for the cord. It would be helpful to have 2 people to do the assembly, they show one person holding the bracket holder open with one hand (not possible!) and putting the light cord into it with the other. What I learned is, if you are doing this by yourself, you can use a hard flat surface (table or countertop) - with one hand you can force and keep the bracket open and with the other place the light cord into it, then let the bracket close around the cord and you can push the light base down into the holder. The even more challenging step, once you have the light base in the holder in the bracket, is getting the bracket into the lantern. First step, make sure you are holding the lantern the way you want it (the light hangs down into it, but you probably want the jack o lantern upright, so check that before you start with the bracket). Expand the lantern, then start by working the bracket/light into it until the bottom edge notches of the bracket engage with the edges of the bottom hole of the lantern. Then work the top points of the bracket into the 2 little round slots in the top ring around the top hole of the lantern - you will have to bend the bracket within the lantern to do this, it is a very tight fit, more so on some than others. Basically none of this is in the "instructions", I learned by trial and error. Be careful, it is easy to damage these while trying to assemble. As stated at the start, yes, they are cute. I will use / hang them this Halloween, but I think they will be challenging to store because they are fragile - if they make it to next year and still work, great, but if not I wouldn't buy again.
