I bought this to add to my hurricane preparedness collection however 1 week after I bought it, my main AC broke, for 36 hrs. I placed this unit in our central main open space, plus the master bedroom and a guest room were left open, it was vented outside my sliding glass door, with two floor fans on low, knowing it was way too large of a space but having older rescue dogs, we did it anyway. We were able to maintain a comfy. temp of 78, I was amazed, dumfounded! It ended up running for almost 32 hrs, no problem. I was not expecting this to be such a good product and now that I can depend on it, I can worriless, it is nice to be able to trust as a solid back up option. I ran it for the whole 32 hrs, temp inside was maintained at a cool 78, with two fans to help circulation. It is not the quietest but not annoying. I woke up many times, during that first night to check the unit, thinking it was too good to be true, but it did not let me down. I keep it in my kitchen area, using the strong fan option on occasion, when I am cooking, baking or working on a project, and can flip it on AC if If I choose to. If you are looking for great interior AC for a good price, you can depend on this is it. 12,000 BTU list, box says 7,400 BTU DoE/11,500 BTU ASHRAE. The unit ships in hassle free packaging. Look in the exhaust tube, they put accessories in there. It goes together fast, fit my vertical sliding windows just fine. The only issue with the window kit is that the exhaust adapter does not fit securely. It says you can screw it with the included screws but I'm not sure how. One doesn't line up with anything solid behind it. Colling is great, it has been putting out around 47 degree Fahrenheit. I checked the discharge outside and it was 130! Air at the inlet of the unit is around 80 - 85. Needless to say the exhaust tube in the house puts out a lot of heat. Keep it as short as possible. Also, the adapters to the unit and window exhaust panels are not tight. A simple thing to fix with some tape. I used packing tape and it was fine, made a huge difference in keeping the exhaust out of the house. That being said, I had to put a few towels over the tube to help block some of the radiant heat. It's run great for over a week now, and is not too loud if you compare it to a window unit. It is loud on high, but that is just how AC units seem to be. It's white noise at least. The unit does turn off the fan once the unit hits it's set temperature. That is annoying, I wouldn't say it would be great in a bedroom if you are a light sleeper or that bothers you. Make sure you have a bucket ready. It puts out a lot of water. I have a mop bucket that fills about every 12 hours and it's not humid. Good tip, put the catch container in another one, like a cheap plastic bin. If you don't catch it in time at least the water will not go everywhere. So far I really like it other than the obscene amount of heat being kicked out the exhaust. I know it's working at least!

I bought this on June 12, 2024. Used it during June, July, August and September. Did not turn it on once until this week. It powers up, blows air, but does not cool whatsoever. I've done all the recommended troubleshooting, and it just blows air which is not the purpose of it. At this point it's just an oversized fan. How can you help address this problem. I suggest you make this easier for customers to provide feedback via Amazon website where all transaction details are already available. Update 6/3/2025 - Seller has over a few months to respond to the above request for support and they have failed to even offer a "we're sorry" this should be a sign of how this seller is going to treat you once you part with your money. Used for my living room give or take, pretty strong compared to others I’ve had in the past swing feature is good, also not as loud as others as well, so far so good , remote works well, cools fairly quick, and also shows you th room temp even when shut off pretty cool lil feat… although it has been cold lately so we’ll see how it is come summer time!

I'm using this in my toy hauler camper. The rear ac doesn't work so I got this to see if it works. So I was able to vent the ac unit out of my window, which is all you need to do. You do not have to drain this unit. I was draining it and read the directions and it says it runs more efficiently if you don't drain it. Well I tried it that way and to my surprise it worked great. I use it three or four days at a time when I'm camping and do not have to drain it. I've also found if you just run it on dry mode it works just as well or I think better than the cool mode. I would definitely recommend this ac unit. I got the 12000 BTU unit and it cools the back of my camper just fine. Also I live in Florida and been using it all summer so I would say that's a pretty good test.

I have to say, I’m impressed. I grew up with central a/c, so I was expecting sub-par cooling. But, no! This a/c unit is easy to set up (I did it between work meetings); portable (wheels make it so easy!); actually relatively quiet (I can run it at night and it’s like a loud fan); and it WORKS. I’m in bed right now, sleepily enjoying 73 degrees (F) when it could be 10-plus degrees hotter. I’m used to living in the Southwestern US, where air conditioning is a must. Am currently live in the Pacific NW, where “heat waves”’are a thing now. My upstairs apartment gathers all the heat during the day. No more! I’m SO glad I bought this. It’s really been a game-changer in terms of comfort and liveability. I do see what other reviewers say about the heat from the duct pipe (it does get warm!), but it’s not enough to heat the room substantially I don’t think. I also have a smaller window, so the plastic panel didn’t fit the entire width, even with expander. I just got a small piece of wood to fill in. Voila! - Instant cooling freshness. Great investment👌🏼 I’m so happy.

This unit randomly shuts off while in use. Not ideal in the high heat of summer. Also reached out to the manufacturer over a month ago for an unrelated issue about a broken part, never heard back. So so product, poor company communication. When it works, it works great and is very cooling for small rooms.
