TEKTON 1/2 Inch Drive x 6 mm Hex Bit Socket | SHB23206

I believe I used this on a 2017 Suzuki Burgman 650 for the front axle bolt. It's been working great. Quality is fantastic and the durability has been awesome. This size fits the front axle on that bike pretty well. Tecton is a good brand from what I can tell and they've replaced one of my other tools under their lifetime warranty. When I have the money I'll buy from them again.

These hex sockets aren't easy to find. Well made and a real labor saver if you have 11mm hex head brake caliper bolts to deal with . It worked great for removing the brake caliper bolts from my jeep .They seem to be very well made ,never had any trouble with them. Good value for the price.

Excellent quality and worked perfect for my application. Fast overnight shipping which was clutch. It’s half the price of a whole set from HF, but, it’s also a better brand than Pittsburgh, so there’s that. Overall, no complaints at all. I use it every couple of days working on manual transmissions. Fits as it should, true to size.

I have an Acer 1440v E-Lathe and I went to change the oil in the headstock. It uses an 8MM internal hex pipe plug screwed into the cast iron of the gearbox. I tried every 8MM Allen Key and socket drive I had. They all flexed or were on the verge of bending. Even my Milwaukee impact with some heat from a torch couldn’t get it out. I found this 1/2” drive 8MM hex key socket and paid extra to get it by 8 AM overnight. I have a variety of Tekton tools and I can’t recall of any letting me down, but I had my doubts this would work. I received it by 5AM today and paired it with the smallest 1/2 breaker bar I have. I was worried it was going to break, but it didn’t. It got that stubborn plug backed out with no issues. It’s certainly not a tool I’ll use often, but I needed something for this project and it delivered!

This hex-bit is made of high quality, polished stainless steel and is machined well. Fits my standard ratchet perfectly, and I was able to change out my brake pads yesterday. Now I'm ready next time I need to do it again in a couple years.
