Simple & compact

Nothing wrong with the machine it is brand new! The original box had some wrinkles in it but the product itself and all the items that come with it were not damaged at all. I’ve already been crafting away! Set up was super easy and using it is super easy. It’s small and sits perfectly where I had envisioned it. Super happy with my purchase!

I knew it would be small but gosh it's so darn cute!! I have way too many toys in my studio at this point, so I needed this to be small. This cricut joy is so freakin adorable. Just ordered a cute mini press to keep it company (& Wow, I feel like I just wrote about it and the mini press is here now next to the cricut joy the very next day - yes, I'm updating my original review bc I finally started to use the Cricut Joy). So having tried to use the Joy for the first time today, I'd say it was even more exciting than I thought. Everything was so easy, and I was able to create a couple of things already even with just the items the machine was packed with. I highly recommend this product. It will guarantee a smile on your face as you receive and open it.

I have a maker, which I love, but this joy makes my life so much easier for quick jobs. I love that you can “smart feed” vinyl to it. If you don’t want to buy the smart feed products, just measure out your vinyl and cut it down to the size of a joy mat and go for it! My first project on this was to do a window sign for a friends shop. I used glitter vinyl that they had purchased. I cut it a little off so my vinyl had some wrinkles (which was also easy to remedy) but if you measure right it’s so easy. This is the BEST tool for so many projects. So happy!

I'd like to consider myself a pretty experienced Cricut person; I own 3 machines (two Air's and a Maker). My husband actually uses them more than I do, because I mostly create smaller items, and hated lugging out the Maker for something that was going to be less than 5 inches. When I found out about the Joy, I did my research, because did I *REALLY* need another machine? After watching video reviews, and talking to friends, I decided to go ahead and get one, and I'm so glad that I did! I have made more with the Joy in the past week than I have in the past 6 months with a regular size Cricut. It cuts lovely and detailed. I have done paper, plastic, glitter HTV, strong hold HTV and vinyl with no issues. The only slight negative that I experienced is that I have used it so much that the cutting mat that came with the machine has almost lost it's stick. But is that really a negative? This machine has already paid for itself in the short time I have had it. I plan on it being my personal main machine to use!

I’ve wanted to purchase a Cricut for some time now but hesitated due to the size of the other machines. Which were so intimidating, not to mention the price tag in those bad boys! But now that they finally came out with a compact machine and I absolutely love it. Super easy to use and navigate through the app and make your very own unique creations. I’m in love! I’ve made a few cards and even a drawing all uploaded straight to the Cricut Design Space one my iPhone. Yes, you read that right the pictures were designed in the palm of my hand! Overall I feel that I made the right purchase for me and my needs. I’d definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to do a little DIY crafts.

Though I got this much faster than expected, I waited to use after Christmas. I have an original cricut machine that uses cartridges. It’s large and heavy so the thought of a little cricut was so appealing. When I tried it I was so disappointed! It did not come with tools but that’s not the only reason why I returned it. It was difficult to navigate the site to use it took me nearly an hour to figure out how to cut one thing. I am not as computer savvy as others are so I became frustrated. I already have a cricut that can cut anything I want so I don’t really need the aggravation just to have a smaller machine. If it took cartridges or was able to be used manually it would have been worth the price. There were not many things I liked to print on the website and creating my own designs is a bit out of my league. Still, it’s great for those who can navigate the site well and are probably new cricut customers. I do think it should come with tools . It’s a cute and lightweight machine. I wish it had been more user friendly for me!

So I bought this because it was more in my price range. It took FOREVER to get here but was well worth the wait. I LOVE it! I am only using it for personal things though. If you're looking to start a business, then I would not suggest it. You would be limited on cutting size and would only be able to do smaller projects. If you're like me though and you want something you can make cards with, or fun decals and stickers for friends and family then this is perfect! The other thing to be aware of is that the Joy has its own special items. The regular cricut items will not work with joy without the purchase of extra adapters so be mindful of that if you have another cricut machine. You won't be able to just easily transition things like pens without buying extra parts.

Product is quite good. It takes time to learn about the machine after trying so many times it is working well.

Súper fácil de usar, el tamaño muy práctico y cómodo, no utiliza nada de espacio y los resultados de los cortes tanto en vinilo como en papel son espectaculares!!! Puede hacer lo que se quiera, el límite es la imaginación. Muy versátil sin duda. Una muy buena adquisición definitivamente! He podido personalizar tazas, sellos, vasos, cajas, y elabore varias tarjetas de felicitación que quedaron personalizadas y de excelente calidad. Un hallazgo increíble!
