Thumbs up for pain relief
Really helps for the worst of sore throats due to common cold or flu. Both of which our household had. The flavor isn't quite the best however have to remember it is not candy. I prefer this to the throat sprays available over the counter. The pain relief lasts long enough to be able to sleep through the night.

Best for sore throats and coughs
These are my go to product when I have a sore throat. I haven’t found anything that works better and they even have a pleasant flavor. They’re especially good before bed when you don’t think your cough or sore throat will let you sleep. Let one then another dissolve slowly in the back of your throat and you will rest much more comfortably.

Great if you can ignore the taste!
I had forgotten how unpleasant the taste of these cough drops is, at least compared to the sore throat (only) Cepacols. It may just be too difficult to mask the benzocaine, which anyone will recognize if they have used OTC tooth pain medications such as Orajel. I think only adults will be able to force themselves not to spit these out. That said, the lozenge will help your throat, and that's why I gave four stars. The amount of Benzocaine in these drops is much less than Orajel, of course, so you won't be numbing your mouth just by sucking on these. But if you can manage to keep the lozenge close to the back of your mouth, your throat may benefit more, because by the time it dissolved, I felt the slight numbness all at the front of my mouth, where I had kept the lozenge. Whatever you do, don't choke on this or any other lozenge!

Best cough drops
Best cough drops when you get sick. For some reason, hard to find in the drugstores and when you do find them, they’re very pricey. This was a really good deal and I highly recommend.
