Fantastic in sand
Brilliant. Bought them to walk the Fishermanโs trail in Portugal walking in sand dunes. Minimal sand at the end of 20+km walks and not having to stop to empty sand out at any time. Highly recommend

Best addition to trail shoes ever!
Totally blocked the annoying grit and dirt I always pick up out on hikes with my Altraโs. Easy to put on and takes off and handy extra Velcro for non heel lock shoes so can add to any trainers. Best investment I made for ages!

Sand free in Joshua tree
Perfect for my altra shoes. Ran a half marathon in full on sand and had no problem with sand in my shoe. Threw them in the wash after and they look as good as new with Velcro still intact. They also came with extra Velcro which came in clutch when my friend ordered a โone size fits allโ gaitor that was WAYY too big so we were able to stick my extra Velcro on hers! Would definitely buy again!

Keeps out debris!
These fit perfectly and stay put. Nothing I hate more than stopping a hike or trail run to dump a rock out of my shoe. These prevent that for sure.

Fits well over my Lowa Zepher boots
Ordered yesterday. Arrived today. They are a close fit over my size 9 feet/heels and an elastic fit over my socks without hindering blood flow. The gaiter's hook fits under the first lace crossover. I have not used, nor do I anticipate using, the Velcro on the heels since the body of the gaiter is, well, snug. Initial use will be to keep shredded leaves out of the boots in FDR State Park. In August, they will be used to reduce fine granite dust, and sand pebbles from dropping into the boots tops on the JMT. Ha! They match my blue Osprey pack. Update: I wore the gaiters on a 12-mile hike in FDR State Park, and they performed very well. Not once did they slip above the top of the boots. Given the light rain and wet grass along the trail I could have expected some moisture to seep into the boots. That did not happen. Good purchase.
