Orion HCCA8000.1D is a BRUTE! I have owned several of the 225HCCA's and 250HCCA's back in the 90's and I will say the new line of amps hold true to their name. Power house of an amp. Bought this for my wife's car. Put it on 2 DC Audio XL15's. She posted a 151.2dB in NSPL Wall 0-30" class over the weekend. Very happy with this amplifier. Puts out a ton of power.

I have bought 2 xtr2500.1dz amps. One went out and I had bought this 8000.1 to give me the power I need. Called Orion to get the other fixed and was told they do not have a warranty department to fix them. Thinking it was a misunderstanding I called back again and was told by someone else the same thing. Come to find out Orion was sold to another company last year. Now I spent $1500 on this amp and they telling me there is nothing they can do. I'm sending this back for a full refund and that is considered a breach of contract. Buyer beware. The number on the booklet is a soliciting number.

I am thoroughly impressed and I've been building systems for over 20 years. This thing is s beast! I don't even have my batteries and alternator yet to feed this thing and it is literally beating the daylights out of my 8 L7 15s (that's right, eight of em) in sealed boxes. I can't wait to hear what it can do when properly fed. The onboard tuning circuits are pretty lame, but c'mon, for how cheap this thing is you can buy whatever up line you want and still have less out of pocket than if you bought any other amp capable of what this thing can do. Im going with the Kicker KQ30 just because I love the way their units really boost the sub bass in a track. Lined up with a Epicenter you'll be registering on the Richter scale. I built this system in my 2016 Peterbilt 579 and this amp makes people think the sleeper is going to explode. When I'm on the road I'm slamming for 10 to 12hrs straight with no overheating problems at all. I would recommend this amp to anyone who is considering buying an amp, you will NOT be disappointed, I give you my word on that... do be prepared to spend some money to feed it properly. Dead on arrival two times. Went out while playing third time. The fourth time played good for one day didn't come on after that..so I think they are trash. It cost me 675.00 to get hooked up and taking apart..I will never buy again

This amp is sick! I'm pushing 2 HCCA 122's, and it is insane! Wired parallel at .5 ohms, 16000 watts, this amp just keeps pushing. It has never cut out, never turned off, or blown a fuse. It requires major power, big big alternator, maybe 2. I have 250 amp alt, 3 batteries, and it dims something fierce if bass is played for a period of time.

Phenomenal amp... great performance sound quality and efficiency and beautiful design .. Im running riot at 2ohm on 2 2000 rms watt subs and the are being pushed to three limit easily
