Great quality, easy to set up
The CD player and "c" speakers output went kaput in the original radio (for 2016 Zinger KS26). This was a direct replacement and fit quite well. It took about 45 minutes to get the wiring soldered in correctly to the "johnson plug". Connectivity to bluetooth- MUCH BETTER, Radio reception (especially FM) MUCH BETTER, Sound Quality MUCH BETTER. The remote that came with it is still pretty small, but the numbers are a bit more readable than the original model. I've used it for over a month now and am quite pleased!

Black is Positive, White is ground
I just can't give up on my 25 year old fifth wheel. Everyone I know with newer trailers have them in the shop too often. That being said, I am always looking to upgrade this 1997 Road Ranger. The Audiovox with cassette deck was wore out. I replaced it with this model of Jensen after doing my research. I found that this stereo had the functions that I wanted ( CD, USB, AUX, Multi-zone, remote, and Bluetooth). Before ordering I found that this stereo matched the dimensions of the cut out, and was highly rated on all the independent websites I could find. The leaning experience I had was that the black wire in my trailer is positive and the white is ground. I found this out through the sacrifice of the fuse. I would suggest looking at the back of your old stereo for any label that explains the wiring, or if you are lucky the wires themselves may be labeled. The wires on the Jensen are easy to follow. I used wire nuts to connect all the wires, however I may redo it and go with butt end connectors. Stereo works as it should, although I have not tried the app as it has poor ratings.

Good unit but missing an Antenna, Mounting Screws and User Manual
I bought the JWM62A to replace an 11-year-old Jensen AWM970 in my trailer. Both have the same dimensions so I could use the same cut out however the wiring harnesses are different. Luckily, all wires coming from the JWM62A are clearly labeled, so I could splice my existing trailer speaker wires to the JWM62A harness using butt-end connectors. I have read that newer Jensen units have the same wire harness as this unit so if you have a newer unit it should be easy to plug and play without having to splice wires to the JWM62A harness. To mount this unit you need to pry off the two thin plastic side trim plates to access the mounting screw holes (mounting screws not included). See photos. Pros: Bluetooth connectivity; you can adjust the brightness of the display -even turn it off; Jensen app so you can run this unit from a smartphone. Cons: No user manual or install directions (I did find one by searching online but it is not included with the unit), no radio antenna is included and no radio reception without one (my trailer had a coax cable connection for the antenna so I did have to purchase a separate universal wire antenna for $7), the buttons are cheap and do not "feel" quality. The buttons all work, but as other reviews have commented, the unit feels cheaply made. Everything works on mine as advertised just thought for the $200-250 price higher quality parts would be used.

A great replacement
The receiver has so many inputs and outputs, more than my RV had. The reception and sound has been as good as the current speakers can output.

Good buy.
Used it for stereo replacement in my RV. Fit the opening without having to make any modifications. Sounds very good, but now need to upgrade the speakers.

Great RV Entertainment Unit
Fit right in where my old unit was. Only down side is I had to download the manual. Did not come with the unit. Sound quality is very good. Comes with audio output jacks so I can dump the sound to my TV if I don't want the the speakers in the trailer on. My last unit did not have this feature.

Replacement of original unit
Installation was a direct fit. No issues. Unit doesn’t except all Blu-ray which isn’t a biggie. But it doesn’t play all standard dvds either. Than the original one I replaced. For this I’m giving it a 3 star. I’ve had it over 3 months in it still has glitches. One day it excepts a movie then a month goes by and it doesn’t. If you can afford the original replacement. I’ll say go that route instead . If not this is better than nothing.

Easy Install
When I received this product, I was taken aback by the multitude of wires that needed to be connected. However, I had the wiring diagram from the old Jensen AWM970 being replaced and it was a simple issue to compare diagrams from old and new. Wires are color coded, so it was a simple job to unsnap the connector, remove the old wire and snap in the new wire. The case was the same size as the 970 - the mounting screw holes were a little bit off, but no problem getting it installed. Nice sound! Quite happy!

Best replacement RV stereo
This was a replacement for an original Jensen AWM910, that had been replaced with a car radio, that was installed by the previous owners of our RV. i was afraid that it would not fit into the hole where the old stereo was because of the vertical disc player on the 910. The new JWM62A had a horizontal disc compartment which meant that there was a projection on the back of the stereo. Unbelievably this fit perfectly without any modification. It took a while for my son to figure out the wiring, as previous owners had modified it to fit the car radio, but once installed this stereo is fantastic, it does everything that we need and did not miss the fact that it does not have hdmi, or play blue ray discs. Used the included RCA cord to hook it to the TV and was able to play a movie perfectly. So far am very happy at least we can watch a movie while travelling, especially when the campground has limited TV reception and its raining.

Replaced Drive EEVD06 perfectly
Our 2018 trailer came with a very cheap Drive EEVD06 3-zone DVD player stereo. From day one, it gave us lots of problems, like not playing DVD disks properly (skipping or never getting to the main menu to actually play the movie) or having no audio out to the TV (so we could watch a movie on the tv speakers in the bedroom without waking the kids with the in ceiling speakers being on). The sound was also very poor on our old unit, so took the plunge and decided to replace it with this Jensen unit. Overall, we are pretty happy with this Jensen unit. The unit fit perfectly in the existing cutout for our old stereo without any modification needed. Although the wiring harness “plug” is also the same, the wiring is different so had to take the old plug off and re-wire. I used crimp-style wire nuts (look like a wire marette but clear plastic and you crimp them instead to twist, can get them at HD or Lowes/Rona) to connect all the new wiring at this is what the trailer originally came with. Installation took maybe 30-40 minutes, taking my time to label the existing speaker wiring ahead of time first and making sure my crimps were solid. A few things I noticed with this unit in comparison to our old unit: - There are a lot of settings with this unit. Had to play with the settings to get things just right. If you want audio OUT to a TV, I found that the audio out had to be set to “fixed” volume output instead of variable output to get sound. - Our trailer has four speakers inside the living room area which were originally wired as Zone A and B (2 speakers each). This Jensen unit has four speaker connections for Zone A, so I wired all four speakers to Zone A. Works perfect and makes way more sense since the speakers are all in a fairly small area. - Likewise, our outdoor speakers were originally wired to Zone C. On this Jensen unit, Zone C has a lower output wattage compared to Zone A and B, so I wired the outdoor speakers to Zone B instead and left Zone C unconnected. To make sure the wires didn’t short, I put a short chunk of heat shrink tubing on the end of the Zone C speaker wires from the stereo. Maybe in the future I will use this zone to add small speakers into the bedroom area. - DVDs play perfect. Note that the instructions say to remove the transportation screw for the DVD player before installing, but our unit did not have this screw at all. Tested using DVDs that gave us problems before, and they played as they should with this unit. - Bluetooth pairing works as it should. Note that you have to push the large knob/volume button on the stereo to complete the pairing process. While this is a major improvement over our previous unit, I did find a few minor issues. Nothing that I can say would cause me to return it…more like minor annoyances: - The speakers will play (very fainty) sound even when the volume is 0, speaker zones are all off, or the volume muted. Yeah. It has to be very quiet otherwise, but you can hear the radio coming through the speakers. Seems like something that shouldn’t happen. The sound is so faint though that if the AC was running, your never hear it. Solution is to just turn the stereo off. Since I don’t think this is really a major issue, not overly concerned. - Also, Jensen, in their infinite wisdom, decided to use the same remote IR codes as the Polaroid branded TV that came with our trailer….for different functions. For example, changing the stereo volume causes the TV to change sources, etc. And using the TV remote will cause the stereo to do things as well. I guess this should be expected with cheap-brand electronics, but would have expected some engineer to be slightly more intelligent than this. Short term, we will block the TV IR receiver with some tape and not use the TV remote. Long term, will likely need to find a different TV that uses different IR codes. We haven’t tried all the functions yet, but everything else works as expected. Despite the few annoyances, I am happy with this upgrade as it does fix the problems we had with the last stereo. Hoping the unit will last for many years…will update if anything changes.

Careful how you wire speakers
Replaced the stereo on my 2011 Rockwood 2701 travel trailer. Old system had 14 pin set up. This one has 20 pin set up. When I tried to keep the 4 speakers in the kitchen individual I ran into problems. One speaker was dead. I doubled up the Front and rear right, and the front and rear left as in the original set up and it worked fine. The quality was about the same as the original receiver. I had to cut out some of the cabinet to get it in there as it is wider and a little smaller top to bottom. Hope it lasts but I'm not expecting a lot.
