SATECHI MFi Magnetic USB-C Charger, 5 W, Aluminium, Apple Watch, AirPods

A typical Satechi product for those who have purchased other Satechi products. It's a premium product, which is reflected by the price but it also perfectly fills a niche that's not available anywhere else. Works anywhere you've got a USB-C socket - my pictures show it in use on the iPad Pro and also on the Satechi Monitor Stand. The item doesn't come with the 10W Extension Charging cable but you can purchase that separately for an additional £5 if it's something you require. It works exactly as you'd expect, place your watch on it and it'll charge. I usually put it on to charge overnight so can't say how quickly it'll charge but given how small and light this item is, it's perfect to take with you should you need to suddenly charge your watch. Is it worth the £45 price tag? Probably not, but then if you're looking at it then you most likely own an Apple Watch and therefore used to paying a premium for your tech products.

I bought this to keep in the car or in my camera bag as I was constantly realizing that my Apple Watch Ultra battery was flat, but my charger was back at home. This charger is ideal as it can be plugged into a USB charger or into the bottom of my iPhone to charge my Apple Watch. It’s compact and does exactly what it was made to do. I can’t see a downside, except that the USB-C plug is a little exposed so you have to make sure that it is protected. A small hard shell case would probably have been very helpful, but for the price, it’s well worth it.

It’s good and does what it says on the tin, the bottom feels plastic rather than aluminium. However, I do think it’s overpriced for what it is - some of the pictures show a short USB-C male to female cable but it doesn’t come with one.

The Satechi usb-c magnetic charging dock is a quality item and whilst it is quite expensive it does feel very well made. This item forms part of my travel bag of useful tech items and means I no longer need to carry the apple usb-a cable. I have tried it with my iPad Pro 12.9 and MBP16 and it works very well. It no longer comes with the short extending cable (can be purchased separately) however I'm going to see how I get on without it.

All genuine MFI certified Apple Watch chargers are fairly expensive, but I was lucky to pick this one up significantly cheaper due to deal of the day. I have tried buying cheaper chargers but they don’t charge as fast, the magnetic strength is weak, and also my watch overheated! Gone through the process of returning two different chargers already. So my advice is to check the MFI database online and make sure that the brand you’re buying is a genuine MFI certified charger. Some brands say they are MFI certified but they are not. Pay extra to get a proper charger as buying cheap will sacrifice quality with the potential of damaging your watch. I’ve just fully charged up my Apple Watch SE 40mm in under 2 hours from flat with this charger. The magnetic strength is just as good as the original Apple charger. It’s portable and perfect for travel and for charging in my car.

Small and a very quick charger for Apple Watch like it

I really wanted to like this product for the designed usage. Unfortunately I was concerned that the port on my iPad would be damaged as the fit doesn’t seem to be as flush and neat as liked. The idea behind this is great, I just feel that there needs to be more of a solid connection to the iPad/port to keep any concerns away.

After using Apple charger it takes more time compare to Apple charging cable. Else good one

Desde hace un tiempo me he vuelto cliente asiduo de esta gran marca, todos sus productos cumplen con los estandares de calidad esperado en productos para el día a día, en este caso, el cargador es genial, me permite utlizarlo directamente en mi Macbook o utilizando una batería con salida USB-C, te evitar estar cargando el cargador original (que es delicado), en mi caso, compré un cable extensor de USB-C y con esto me facilita colocarlo en la mesa de noche, lo recomiendo totalmente, cuesta menos que un cargador original y brinda mas beneficios y comodidades.

Very portable for use when travelling. So far the most well built small charger for my AWU3. Highly recommended!
