Another Nilight win
Another Nilight win. This company keeps producing stellar products. From terminal connectors to these bed lights. Installed ridiculously easily. This product comes with a water proof set of lights, water proof button and an inline fuse so now you don’t have to purchase everything separately. The lights connect easily, the only down side is they are not all inline. There is a Y split so one strand can have 2 lights and the other strand has one which was a little disappointing but easily overcome. A reviewer said that the adhesive is only to hold for a little to get the lights up where you want them, but I disagree. They were put up and have withstood multiple car rides and storms and the adhesive is still strong with no sagging. If you want to purchase zip ties or other adhesive though, go for it. I only got the white light option and they are bright enough so you can see but they are not blinding which is a major plus. These lights function extremely well and I even put in a magnet switch so the lights turn on when the tail gate is open, and off when closed. Value for the money is fantastic. I paid 20 bucks for the lights, button and inline fuse. The pack did come with roughly an extra foot of positive and negative wires but I still had to purchase more from a local auto shop which is fine. **If anyone is looking for the Directed Electronics 8600 Micro magnet switch used in ChrisFix’s video, it is no longer on Amazon and can be found at Quality Mobile Video’s website. Thats where I purchased mine and it works great with the system. The solid black wire is the positive and the black/white wire goes to your ground. I can’t recommend this light strand enough. Do yourself a favor and purchase from Nilight. Their products for the value are stellar.

Great lights
Bright and durable plug and play. You do have to wire in your power but everything is easy to hook up. This is my second set of lights. First set I used to replace the cheesy led lights outside of my travel trailer and what a difference there. This new set I bought to actually accent light our back porch area around the nice cast iron wood stove. The light worked exactly as I wanted it to for providing a nice calm backlighting without actually seeing the lights themselves. If I had a truck I'd most likely be buying another set of these for the bed.

Bright, Clean Lighting for Truck Bed
These LED bed light strips are very bright and evenly light up the entire truck bed. The 270 LEDs provide excellent visibility at night. The on/off switch is convenient, and the included wiring accessories made installation easy. Great quality and value.

2011 Silverado Standard / Regular Bed
I installed these in early 2025. The tape is holding them up about a year now with no issues. My reason for the 4star rating was the wiring. In my opinion, should've been a "daisy chain" style rather than 2 plug style. 1 plug for one strand and the other plug for the other two strands. Then the switch has another several feet of wire. When I tried to hook it up without cutting anything, there was so much wire that I tried to tuck away. Gave up on that and began to simply cut and splice for a custom fit. Ended up removing approx ten total feet of wire. The supplies switch works very well. A dab of hot glue holds it in place. The lights are plenty bright and I do like them

They are bright
These are extremely bright good quality but the sticky tape isn’t the best but they could also include more things that help hold it up but I’m pleased

These lights are awesome
Overall, these lights are such a great value for the price. Pros: - Very bright, easy to see anything in the bed of my truck - Easy to install - They can with a decent amount of electrical wiring to be able to splice into your project - Durable, weatherproof design Cons: - Anything here would just be a nitpick, these are really great. Installation Tips: - For the adhesive, prep and clean the area thoroughly. These stuck easily to the sides of my truck bed, but less so on the back of the tonneau cover box. This is because the tonneau cover box is a stippled plastic surface so its harder to adhere to. This isnt a fault of the lights in any way, and its easily solved with some epoxy or heavy duty two sided tape - Test fit the lights before you peel off the adhesive - For the electrical, make sure you use a fuse and wire it correctly! I removed the switch that came with the lights, and replaced it with a magnetic contact switch so they would turn on automatically when the tailgate was opened. You can wire these up in any way you like to switch them. Overall, these lights are great. I'm very happy with them and they've made it much easier to find things in the bed of my truck on dark nights.

Product works, but you will need to buy extra wire to reach the battery or 3rd brake light assembly
Well to start my package was obviously a previous return as it was opened and the tape was gone from the LED strips. Regardless though, the strips still adhered very well to the truck but did need some help in a couple of areas. I used alien tape, which works great! After installation I found out why the item was returned, one of the jacks the lights plugged into did not work. I filed for an exchanged and received a brand new set the next day with both jacks functioning. The small amount of extra wire is not going to be long enough to wire this unit outside of the cab, especially to the front of the truck where the battery is. You will need to buy a small spool of wire for about $10, 18gage is big enough. Nilight says you should wire the unit to the battery, but I think it makes more sense to wire the unit into the 3rd brake light assembly where the cab lights are; this way the LED strips light up with the bed light by opening the door, the headlight button in the cab, and the key fog; no need to use the provided switch.

Good bright strips thay are easy to wire. The remote is easy to use as well as the supplied switch. I had a little trouble at first with the adhesive but I used an isopropyl alcohol to clean the area first and they adhered very well.

I'm thrilled with how my bed lights project came out! These strips were so sturdy and well insulated that I didn't need to worry about channelling them or coming up with some fancy mounting solution. I couldn't be more impressed with the overall brightness and uniformity. I wired them in to a magnetic sensor switch and my own manual override switch for added functionality. I thoroughly enjoyed this job and it's got a factory-quality feel for sure.
