An easy, breezy guided journal for recording your new baby's first year. Wit and humor make the journal a joy to fill out, and the light prompts don't take up too much of Mom's precious time. The bright and whimsical design makes this journal a must-have for all new mothers. Review: Wonderful Baby Book! - This book has been so fun and easy to use. My baby girl is almost 9 months already and the pages are so easy to fill out that I haven't missed writing down a single event. I love keepsakes and memory stuff, but I'm terrible at journaling and scrap booking. This book is perfect cause it captures all the important details without taking up too much time or effort. Bonus is that it's gender neutral and still really cute. It has a short section for pregnancy and birth stuff (baby shower, family history, the birth and the first couple weeks) Then the next section is for the first year. There's a spot for a picture from that month and stats and other details can be written below. At 3, 6 and 12 months they have an extra section called exclusive interview where you can go into a little more detail about that stage of their life. (sample questions - What's the best piece of parenting advice you've received so far? Have you been having date nights yet? What are some of your favorite things to do together?) The section ends with 4 1/2 pages for 12 months and birthday information and pictures. The third and final section is the gallery of firsts where it has a separate page for a picture and details about the event. Some of these include: holidays, seasons, bath, first words, first big trip. And then pages to jot down the dates next to milestones such as: First time playing peek-a-boo, first time giving a kiss, first time crawled, first steps, first time eating solid food, first words, first tooth (although there isn't a tooth chart :( )first laugh and lots lots more! The book ends with a couple pages where mom and dad can write a letter to baby. And then a page for baby to write in when they are all grown up. You will not be disappointed with this book! So fun. So easy to use. And memories that will last a lifetime. Review: Adorable Baby Book! - Words cannot express how much I love this baby book (and the pregnancy one: The Belly Book: A Nine-Month Journal for You and Your Growing Belly (Potter Style) )! I even bought another one of each when I was having my second child. It is so easy to complete, while still having some really meaningful sections. It looks really bright and cute and homemade when done, more like a scrapbook (which may be a negative for some folks). My toddler actually really loves looking through his and asks me to "read" it to him often. There's a section for a photo for each month up to a year, and a section of "firsts" including each season and holidays like Halloween and Thanksgiving. I also like that instead of just having a "My First Christmas" section like many baby books, it instead has "My First Big Holiday," a non-denominational family holiday emphasis, as well as a "My First Holiday Card" page, which is perfect for an inter-faith family (and much more inclusive than other baby books). They do have a "Godparents" page, though. Each page fits about a 4x5 vertical picture (though you need to crop to more of a 3x5 vertical. My only negative would be the section on meeting family for both parents is only one page, so you can only get 2 horizontal or maybe 2-4 smaller vertical pictures on it (which is unfortunate if you are from a big family).

LOVE LOVE LOVE this authors keepsake books!!!
Super cute baby book!! This book has all the right prompts and space for pictures and fun facts and information about month to month baby changes and facts. It is absolutely perfect. I bought this to go with my matching โthe belly bookโ by the same author. So now I have one for my son the entire time I was Pregnant and now this one for him for birth to a year and all of his โfirstsโ in between. I also have the matching โBirthday Bookโ which is a yearly keepsake journal for birthdays. I LOVE the layout and ease of this book and the memories it holds!! I would highly recommend purchasing this for yourself if youโre pregnant or have a new baby or for any friend or family member who is pregnant!!! Seriously the best keepsake books :)

Fantastic, non-guilt-inducing baby book!
I bought this book when my son was born, and it promptly got buried under a never-ending pile of laundry, not to be seen again until a few months ago...and he is almost two. I hadn't even written his name in it. I strongly considered just giving it as a baby gift to someone else, since I was clearly never going to get around to starting it, much less finishing it. But a few weeks ago, in the spirit of this no-pressure book (which gave me permission to skip questions and fudge the date of his first smile, etc.) I decided to give it a go. And with a few hours of work, I actually completed the whole thing! This book is darling and light-hearted. I felt like it covered the bases as far as a baby book goes without being overwhelming (or guilt-inducing). I liked that it was broken into three sections, which prevented me from getting stalled out with the details of my son's fifth month. Most importantly, even sleep-deprived new parents could get this thing done. The main section has a place for one picture and a few stats/questions for each month, which took no time to fill out. Even two years later I could easily piece together the pages about my son's birth and few weeks. I am so happy I decided to keep this book! My one complaint is that the small, rounded pages--while cute--didn't hold many pictures or memorabilia (in spite of the suggestions to put those things on the pages). But since the point of this book is to keep you from overdoing it, I probably can't fuss too loudly about that.

Easy, peasy :)
This is a great baby book for a mom that spends more time running around after their kiddo than being able to sit down and scrapbook. Nothing against the scrapbooking, but it's just not for me. I don't have the patience for it, and I have too many other things that need to get done in my free time for me to get into such a time consuming venture. But, I didn't want my little guy to miss out on knowing a little about his first year. I also wanted something I could refer back to about his stages and how things went with him when I have other kids too. You always think there's no way you'll ever forget each of those stages they go through, but you totally do! Personally, I don't think the cover of the book is all that appealing, but that's just my opinion aesthetically. But it is SUPER easy to keep up with and fill out. There are places and pages given to glue in pictures, but it's not like the whole book is just for pictures and it's going to be empty without a ton of pics. It had many prompts to help you think of what to write about and include in the journal, but they are open-ended enough to make it personal. There are three sections in the book: pregnancy/newborn section, month-by-month section, and a section devoted to baby's firsts. I like the month by month section because it helps me remember to sit down at some point toward the end of the month and think about the cutest things my little one did or things I want to remember about those 4 weeks. It never takes me more than 10 min for that month. Can you tell my focus was on practical use of my time but also effectively preserving memories? The other thing I loved about this book is that opposed to the other more elaborate $60+ baby books, this one was so reasonably priced. I definitely recommend this book if you are looking for something that is easy to fill out and help you remember and pass down special moments/memories in a succinct way for a good price. It's also great if you don't feel you are creative enough to think up everything on your own. :)

Great baby book for parents who want something short that covers all the milestones
Love this baby book. It starts out with a page or two with information on the parents. Then it moves onto the pregnancy phase which is 6ish pages. Some are mostly blank where you can paste a picture, or write in something that's sentimental to you. There's 3ish pages about the birth, and a page each for the hand and foot prints. Next is 5ish pages about the first few weeks home. There are also a few pages about the grandparents. The first year is broken up into each month, and each month has one page. Lastly the book has pages of firsts. For example first birthday, bath, smile, etc. The front and back of the book is a hardcover which I love because it allows me to tape in bulkier items like hospital bracelets, etc while still allowing the book to close properly. Lastly I liked the little bits of humor in the book, the author did a great job of making this light-hearted and fun. For example "My new home is so much more spacious than where I've been the last nine months!"

Minimalist, Simple, Clean Baby Journal that covers pregnancy through 1 yo
I fell in love with this baby journal back in 2012 when I had my #1. Now I have 3 kids and 3 of these amazing journals :) [Pro] - Gender neutral - Simple & Minimalist type journal that doesn't require too much effort lol - Covers some pregnancy days like "breaking the big news" "ultra-amazing" and baby shower. (Very minimal) - Easy: 1 page per month (except for 3mo, 6mo, and 12 mo) - Great price $12 [Con] - Wish it had some pockets for time capsule like Your Birthday Book (by same line) to keep cards, pictures, and etc. - My gallery of first is nice to have but I often forgot about it [Tips] - I taped an envelope so I can store some keep sake with this journal - I find it so very useful to have Instax camera to take monthly pictures (Let's face it; who has time to print photos every month?) I would highly recommend this baby book and also "Your Birthday Book" (https://amzn.to/2EHba56) from the same line after your baby turns 1.
