As a professional face painter, this palette is an excellent value for the money. Kraze FX colors are hyper pigmented yet wash off easily and completely with ease. These neon colors glow beautifully under blacklight and the white, which is included, is actually a UV neon white that is awesome! Plus, they include 2 great brushes with the kit! You just can't beat that for the value. I've purchased other Kraze FX split cakes as well, including their new domed ones, and have been nothing but impressed. These paints are antimicrobial and easily compete with other top, professional brands like DFX and Fusion. Kraze FX may be a newer brand but with this kind of quality, pigmentation, ease of use, color variety and different types (Like their metallics, Neon and traditional), they have already become a permanent fixture in the face Painting community.

I was excited to receive a bright colors pallet. I could not even pull a 3 inch stroke without the colors fading. This is after many swipes through the paint with the brush.

The best neons on the market. Great color, high glow visibility (black light responsive, not glow in the dark). If you have never used neons, there is a learning curve in loading and applying to achieve the best color. For all the brands I have tested from around the world, Kraze is the best. Remember that the FDA considers neons special effects (use on prosthetics, nails, hair) So to make this skin safe you will need a skin barrier such as a skin approved pigment layer or a barrier spray.

Honestly a little disappointed with the amount of paint you get & the vibrancy of the colors. Of course it is neon and meant for use under a blacklight and I haven't had the opportunity to use them in that lighting. I have & prefer brands that look great under blacklight and in normal lighting. I could look past it if one design with 2 loads of a brush didn't eat up 1/3 of the tiny pan of paint. I admit I've only used a few colors as im going to save them for any uv use I need them for. If I purchase from krave in the future it will be the full sized dome strokes as you can get more paint for better price from other brands in pallets.

Containers fall out constantly! Once you get your brush loaded and begin the color is wiped away. Its decent when dry but only on the beginning of a stroke. Very small amounts in pans... the black is great though.. not enough to make up for the others

It's hard to find face paints that create opaque, thin layer of color. These work exactly as needed. Smooth, consistent coverage with a single stroke by brush or sponge. I'll reorder this brand. I use a barrior spray on top of cosmetic-primer to prevent "staining skin"/ so all the color comes off with 1 wash. Worth the added cost! This pallette offers so many combinations, it's a value for the quality & variety.

I love the pink pigment and consistency, however the cakes are tiny and are loose in the tray so they pop out constantly they don't stay where they're supposed to. Which makes it difficult to load your brush. I guess for the price I was expecting more paint these will not last long at all. But again pretty colors and consistency just very little paint for the price.

This is a great UV set with a nice selection of one-stroke paints. They go on well, look bright in normal light, and give a fantastic pop in UV light. The palette makes a nice addition to my professional face painting kit for neon parties. It should be noted that they are labeled for prosthetic use only, though pro face painters have been using neon pigments safely on skin for years.

This is actual professional paint!! I wasn’t terribly impressed with the coverage of the paint when I first tried it but WAIT! The payoff comes when you turn that UV light on!! Neons are not really intended to look super great under normal light. Then you want regular colours. But under the UV light, wow!! The purple looks a bit whitish but that’s normal. And trust me, the photo doesn’t capture the true brilliance. I didn’t edit these at all except to crop out my messy house in the background! The colour which doesn’t show (second stripe in the right band) is a regular colour, non-neon. The only drawback is that these take more than usual water and brush swipes to load the brush and the teeny size. But you will still get loads of faces from these!
