Old school test for pH is still the best.
Easy test for pH. Old school works. Expensive electric pH testers need to be calibrated regularly. Who wants to do that? Tear off a piece, dunk, read, toss. Simple, fast, accurate and cheap.

I Licked a Strip for Science and Now I Know Too Much
Range: PH 1–14 means you can test everything from lemon juice to your cousin’s alkaline smoothie that tastes like regret. These strips are judgment incarnate. They don’t lie. They just quietly tell you your favorite kombucha is basically vinegar with a marketing budget. Storage Case: Sleek, satisfying, and slightly mysterious. I call mine the “Box of Truth.” It travels with me now. It’s seen things. It’s tested things. It’s judged things. Pet Food Testing: I tested my dog’s kibble. Neutral. I tested my cat’s dried minnows. Slightly acidic. I tested my own sense of boundaries. Still working on that. Saliva: After eating pickles: acidic. After schnitzel: still acidic. After a green smoothie: suspiciously alkaline. I tested my tears after watching a sad cartoon. Perfect 7.0. Apparently, emotional breakdowns are chemically balanced. Soil Testing: I poked the backyard dirt and discovered it’s mildly acidic. I now refer to my lawn as “The Sour Patch.” I tested the soil near my compost pile and got a reading that suggests it’s plotting something. Unexpected Uses: I tested my bath water. Alkaline. I tested my coffee. Acidic. I tested a puddle outside the gas station. Unknown substance, but the strip turned a color not on the chart. I’ve chosen to interpret that as a warning. Final Verdict: These strips are the Swiss Army knife of judgment. Water, soil, saliva, pet snacks—nothing is safe. If you’ve ever wanted to turn your life into a series of tiny science experiments with dramatic results, this is your moment. Buy it. Test everything. Become the pH prophet your neighborhood didn’t ask for but now fears slightly.

1 pack doesn't change color
It's a good strips but when you rely on something at specific time and it doesn't work it's disappointing. 1 pack doesn't work at all

Product works as described. No issues at all. Seller only makes $1 for this item ($12) as postage via Aust Post snail mail was hefty at $11! I feel for the Seller. The item should have commanded a better price.

Bought these to (roughly) test the acidity of our Home(stead)made Apple Cider Vinegar. They changed color immediately when dipped into both vinagers I tested, and the store bought vinegar test strip is in the expected PH range.
