Is the wall plug flat against the wall or is it a normal plug?

It is a normal-sized power strip with a cord that plugs into the socket.  It stretches...slides apart...so one can easily fit those larger boxy plugs.  I find it quite useful.  With the 'slide apart' feature, one can fit more plugs into the power strip.
