The scent smells great and fills the small guest bath. While each person is different in preferences, I have found that with using all 6 reeds the scent is not a strong, heavy, sweetly perfumed, overpowering or potent. It is the scent equivalent to having a dozen (maybe two?) freshly cut rose bouquets in your room. Personally, it’s a very calming, ‘feel good’ scent that does not assail the senses and appears totally natural.The bottle is smaller than what I’m accustomed to, but it looked so darn cute with the flowers inside that I had to try one instead of buying my usual refill. It’s an attractive little thing measuring approx. 1-3/4” per side and height (not including the neck) which fits in well with my decor. It doesn’t hold much (1.7 oz or a little over 3 Tbsp) which translates to it doesn’t last long as I would like. Obviously, the more reeds in use, the faster it goes. I’ve now cut back to testing 3-4 reeds which gives a more delicate scent in hopes of making it last longer.Overall, it was the final touch needed to transform the overall ambiance of the bath into a spa like setting.

Update: The diffuser lasts about 5 weeks with all the reed sticks in. The oil gets used up a lot quicker as time goes on and the sticks had more time to absorb the oil. The scent gets stronger with time too.This has a really nice scent that isn’t overpowering. Really great gift idea! I bought a bunch to give as gifts for my kids teachers. I figured every person has a small corner somewhere in their house where they could use one of these. I opened one myself and put it in my 5ftx5ft bathroom. Works great! I would not think it would work in a large open space like living room etc. the scent is too subtle.

Scent it nice but you have to have your face right against it to smell anything. Adding more reeds didn’t help. Had it in the living room at first and moved it to a small bathroom hoping that would capture more of the scent - nothing. I’ve tried three different reed diffuser oils (2 from Amazon, 1 from a high quality brand) and none of them were impressive. I would strongly suggest buying from a store where you can get an idea of the strength of the scent.

This reed diffuser scent is amazing! Everyone, my clients, love the way it smells and keep asking where I purchased it. The only problem is, even when straight out of the box, the scent doesn't carry very far at all. A lot of times I don't notice it unless Im putting my nose up to it intentionally smelling it. I have also been able to smell it when it is within 2 feet of my face but even then it was fleeting. I am hoping to put more reeds in it and remember to turn them daily to see if this will help the scent carry throughout the room.

I bought the vanilla and was hoping it would soothe me to sleep. But the scent is so weak, you can only smell it if you stick your nose right up to it. Not really conducive to sleeping! The scent is very nice otherwise. But useless for air aroma.

This is so cute and smells up our entire foyer at the office. Love the vanilla scent. It is perfect! I can't speak for the longevity of the scent but so far, so good!
