Mickey Tomlinson, attempts the most dangerous military entrance known to man: The Special Air Service. This elite group (S.A.S.) is tasked with life threatening missions in the most dangerous places on the planet. With his confidence shaken by the death of his best friend, Mickey must overcome the ultimate physical and mental obstacles, the most evil interrogation possible and a test that pushes he and his friends to the body-breaking limit . You will cheer and wince and feel their pain in the powerful story of human endurance. Many try to get into the S.A.S. Only the elite make it. Review: WELL DONE - Movie was very interesting because so little has really been made about the SAS selection process. Half the movie takes place during selection. I'm sure a lot was left out but the scenes that are portrayed give a pretty good idea of the physical and psychological stresses that are part and parcel of military training. What has to be remembered is that the troops who are going through selection are already fully trained military personnel who come from all the services. The last bit of the movie concerning the counter terror operation was a bit light on details and the combat sequence itself was unimpressive...almost amateurish and very disappointing visually. This movie could of easily gone on for another 45 minutes if the last half of the story was fleshed out a little more with the other characters, and the combat operation itself. The fighting scenes could of used some more realistic intensity in my opinion, although the hand to hand combat was intense enough. Overall well worth watching. Review: Excellent movie covering a very limited subject! - Movie was not Hollywood fanfare. It dealt with a gritty subject in a gritty fashion. SAS are one of the best, and this film shows why. I will stand by my own nation's operators as the best though, and that is not all just blind patriotism, BUD/S might be more rigorous than SAS, but not a great deal. Meanwhile for me personally, the thorough training one receives at SWCS and its attendant locales teaches you how to be the ultimate warrior and soldier. The following words become part of you: I am an American Special Forces Soldier! I will do all that my nation requires of me. I am a volunteer, knowing well the hazards of my profession. I serve with the memory of those who have gone before me. I pledge to uphold the honor and integrity of their legacy in all that I am - in all that I do. I am a warrior. I will teach and fight whenever and wherever my nation requires. I will strive always to excel in every art and artifice of war. I know that I will be called upon to perform tasks in isolation, far from familiar faces and voices. With the help and guidance of my faith, I will conquer my fears and succeed. I will keep my mind and body clean, alert and strong. I will maintain my arms and equipment in an immaculate state befitting a Special Forces Soldier, for this is my debt to those who depend upon me. I will not fail those with whom I serve. I will not bring shame upon myself or Special Forces. I will never leave a fallen comrade. I will never surrender though I am the last. If I am taken, I pray that I have the strength to defy my enemy. I am a member of my Nation's chosen soldiery. I serve quietly, not seeking recognition or accolades. My goal is to succeed in my mission - and live to succeed again. De Oppresso Liber And those are not just words in any fashion; they are a way of life. "Who Dares Wins" is the SAS motto. Since this was not a Hollywood flick, it was only mentioned once and did not need to be said more. It is imbued into the fabric of the film. This movie will be a bit more cerebral than the normal Hollywood action flick junkie will like. The action just has to be earned by the viewer; they have to understand at least a small part what it means to be just that special, to be SAS. Simply, this film was well done.

Nice Try.
The interruption, now and then, by the running of headlines at the bottom of the screen, interfered with my enjoyment of the film. Some of the lines were there to develop drama, as when the three characters are racing against the clock. Other of the lines were just pure propaganda announcements telling how "rough" the SAS was. This distracted from the overall flow of the plot. Speaking of the plot, why was MIckey introduced as a "chef:? It is difficult to see how his civilian occupation added to or subtracted from the overall movie. Why even bring it up, except to show that he was not the typical candidate for the SAS?? But then, who cares? The shot-out at the end was more of an amateur production than most. If automatic weapons were being fired in close quarters, there would be chips and splinters flying around everywhere. The Opposition would not be standing out in the open without being cut down. Then, it devolved (devolved is a Brit word!) into three personal combats: Mickey, the black SAS leader and the woman SAS. If I wanted staged conflicts, I would have watched WWF. All in all, this movie did not cut it for me.
