VENTS 100mm (4”) Standard Inline Extractor Fan – Quiet Loft-Mounted Ventilation for Bathroom, Shower & Damp Control

Good quality replacement fan for the one which had stopped working in the loft. Easy to wire up and install, this is the non timer version as there was only a live and neutral. Comes on with the light and goes off when the light is turned off. Seems very silent however it is in-line and installed in the loft.

This is a good value replacement for any extractor system using ducting. Providing a great deal more suction and throughput than most conventional installations. This has significantly improved the extraction and air flow out of the bathroom, enabling a much dryer after environment. My only criticisum is that the fitting of the motor assembly into the supply frame box uses two plastic pull down latches to hold the motor unit in place. The connection points are weak and liable to break. However, I managed to apply extra strength and stability by using several rounds of ducting tape.

Used to cool inverter in a cupboard with pump placed in the loft. Very quite when operating, almost silent. Negative issues: 1. Arrow on case does not show direction of air flow but is simply pointing to a QR code. Only realised when pump was sending air in the wrong direction. 2. Wiring instructions confusing, the unit has 2x lives and 1 neutral which is not shown in the wiring diagram. It shows 5 wires? Seems that if you connect L1 and L2 together, it produces maximum power output. Connect either L or L1 only and it pumps at a slower rate. ( I'm a DIYer not an electrician so maybe its me at fault) Overall, very pleased as it does the job, is very quiet, and the cheapest unit on Amazon.

Straight swap for the old one , good extractor

This is mainly a reaction to 1 reviewer here named Stan, who claims that this 4" unit pulls only 1.7m/s. It is a total BS, Stan has either faulty unit or doesn't know how to use anemometer. This 4" fan runs perfectly, I tested it on 3 speeds (by regulating voltage) and numbers are more than impressive: ~40% speed is totally silent, consumes 0.01A and the pull is impressive 3.6m/s (for comparison, a standard Manrose wall-mounted fan has pull at 100% speed about 2m/s. ~66% = 0.135A and 6.3m/s 100% = 0.25A and 9.1m/s, which is amazing. I am adding also some evidence... I am not associated with the seller in any way. I just almost didn't buy this fan because of Stan's review, don't do this mistake.

Didn't realise it didn't have a run over facility when switched off which would have been useful

Good fan and easy to install. If you are fixing to a rafter I suggest sound insulation between fan and the timber

broke down in 4 months no options to get replacement new or refund what exactly happens with sale of goods act

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, dopo varie tentativi ho trovato questo aspiratore che fa il suo lavoro come si deve. Consiglio per chi non vuole spendere tanto e avere la qualità a prezzo convegniente.

Funcionamiento correcto. Ruido lo que se esperaba. Evacua bien los vapores y relativamente bien los olores. Compra recomendable.

Remplacement à l’identique de ma WMC extracteur d’air qui a rendu l’âme au bout de 8 ans.
