Shimano Guide Pulley + Tension RD -6700

Ordered from this seller before and an order got lost, contacted them and they promptly got my order to me. These cost more than the bushing style, one is ceramic and one sealed bearing. The ceramic has rubber gaskets on metal washer. They weren't on my original, probably dried up and fell off. Others have stated there is some resistance or drag on the ceramic pulley. It is due to these rubber bushings, if you leave them off it will free spin but you have some side to side slop. I tried both ways and put them in. If you want to leave the rubbers out, add a Stainless washer to both sides. I'm sure I'll be doing that once the rubbers disintegrate. Pay attention to rotation and location of each of your old ones. Ceramic bearing is top location on mine. I'm sure ceramic would not withstand the punishment on the bottom cog. Lots of different angles when shifting and bottom takes the licks on trail. Was good factory replacement for my Deore 9 speed deraileur. For a 23 year old deraileur it works like new after clean up and installing these pulleys. I could have just kept old ones as they really were not bad, but good to have spares. These NYC dudes have good prices and are very responsive. I get need for more parts I'll be looking them up. Must have a good business up yonder in that congested city with plenty of riders needing parts. FIVE STARS!

Shimano rocks and these pulley wheels make my Ultegra derailleur act like new.

It worked well as replacement part in a cracked pulley wheel in Shimano Ultegra 10 speed set. I later realized the cost of derailier and pulley wheels is only 6 dollars more. Next time I would replace the entire unit. It was easy to change and works well. It appears to be OEM part.

I noticed a cracked derailleur pulley on a road bike I had purchased around 2009. Not wanting to replace the entire rear derailleur (which worked perfectly fine) I looked for a pulley set that would be compatible with both my Shimano Ultegra derailleur and my 9 speed rear cassette. This pulley set worked perfectly. After watching a couple of YouTube videos showing how to replace the pulleys, I was able to successfully complete this task without any undue difficulty. A word of caution, however. Pay attention when you replace the chain that it flows through the bottom pulley correctly. I did not do this which resulted in having to take off the bottom pulley and reattach it after correctly placing the chain through the pulleys. Not doing this correctly the first time turned a 15 minute job into one that took 30 minutes.

If they drag at first, just squirt them with a drop of silicone lube. The ceramic bearings make for nice, crisp shifting compared to my old 105 pulleys.

Have an older XTR on my bike and wanted to replace the Guide Pulleys. Tried an aftermarket ones but did not even come close to fitting. Decided to stick with Shimano parts and now works like a new Derailleur.

Much cheaper than getting the local bike shop to replace my worn ones. So easy to replace and these great quality ones are easy to read as they show which is the right side with their directional arrow on. have bought before and will buy again.

He comprado estas roldanas porque tras 3 años, las de mi cambio Ultregra Di2 estaban ya bastante gastadas. Tenía mis dudas porque en la descripción del artículo no está clara su compatibilidad. Sólo indican RD6700 que es la numeración del shimano 105. Tras instalarlas, puedo decir que son perfectamente compatibles, por lo que supongo que igualmente lo será para DURA ACE
