Perfect for rooms without a ceiling light!
I installed this on my ceiling (you just don't use the clips they include for wall mounting) in a room that doesn't have a ceiling light. It lights up the room much better than the lamp in the corner does. The room is about 10' x 10' and when mounted in the center of the ceiling, the cord reaches over to the wall and down to the outlet with a room to spare. I will just use some cable clips to keep the cord against the wall/ceiling. This is a great solution for those who don't want to mess with adding in a junction box as well as for renters!

I have had this for 2 years and it works great. Gives off so much light. Such a great solution for an apartment with no recessed lighting.
