Not for the Beginner!
After putting together a smaller project from this company I was really looking forward to this build. I figured out that if you take a picture of each page of the instructions with your tablet, it’s much easier to figure out what goes where as you can expand and brighten the picture. As I was building the base legs, the pieces did not stay connected to each other. It was very frustrating to be placing a piece from, say, Instruction Page 29, only to have pieces from Instruction Page 26 come loose. It just got too hard to do and ultimately i threw it in the trash. Very disappointing. Well, here I am back again. The above was attempt One of this set. A complete failure on my part. Several months went by and I decided to take another try ONLY THIS TIME WITH GLUE. Yes, this goes completely against the traditional building block types, but there was no way it was going work without glue. It didn’t work. I attempted to put it together with superglue and it’s just too unforgiving. After I got done with the base unit, it looked terrible. As I got several levels into the upper unit I applied too much pressure and it came flying apart. I wrote to the seller and asked for replacement pieces. They refunded my purchase which allowed me to buy a third set. This time I used a slow-setting plastics hobby glue and it made all the difference in the world. I just finished the build and couldn’t be more pleased. This is the thirteenth one of these micro sets I’ve done and this was undoubtedly the most enjoyable of them all… NOW, after my first attempt I was pretty pissed. One last thing… I wrote to the seller as asked for a digital copy of the instructions. They hooked me up and it was wonderful to build using my ipad.

Awesome when finished!
As mentioned by others, this is not an easy build. All 3300+ pieces must be dumped at once and they are tiny. Building the legs gets tough due to lack of strength but once you add the first deck level it gets pretty well solidified. Don't work on it unless you are in a calm and focused mood but once it's together it's really cool! I love it. Be prepared to hate the solo piece I posted, there's over 700 of them to use!

Difficult and frustrating
This is my fourth set from this company. The others I’ve given 5 stars to. This one rates no more than a 3, maybe lower. The instructions are very hard to follow. It’s very difficult to distinguish among the pieces , and the pieces when assembled do not hold together. At less than the halfway point, I gave up. I simply could not get the pieces to the tower to hold together. Adding a new layer caused the ones below to collapse. I’ll no doubt go back to it at some future point, but for now I’ve gone on to something else and consider this to be a waste of money. Well, I came back to it six months after my initial review. I had just completed the Lego Notre Dame model, which looks good but was not very challenging. Lego instructions are clear and detailed, and the pieces are large and fit together well. It was almost too easy. So, I figured let's go back to the Eiffel Tower and take advantage of my renewed building confidence. If I can do Notre Dame, surely I can do the Eiffel Tower! No such luck. After starting over on the tower legs, being ultra-careful in looking at the instructions, and taking great care in trying to get the pieces to fit together, I still failed. The tower pieces simply won't hold together. Trying to press new levels together caused the lower levels to collapse, over and over again. Other reviewers have said they had the same results but then decided to use glue to hold things together. I would guess that glue would be the only way to get this model together, but using glue, in my mind, defeats the entire purpose of block models. I'm extremely disappointed.

This is a gorgeous and fun build. It is complicated and satisfying.
If you are looking for a challenging build, this may be a set for you. It took me two weeks of evenings to finish it, and it was really satisfying to get it done. You might want to get a bottle of plastic-model glue/cement for this build. There are several (you could also say "a lot of") places where the structure is fragile and needs some reinforcement (glue). I'm not complaining, I'm just suggesting that you have some glue handy. You also should have one of the concave-ended specialty tweezers for nano builds. You previously could get one here on Amazon, but they're not here any more. You can search for "nano block tweezers NB-019" on eBay and probably find one. The instructions are amazingly detailed and accurate. I didn't see any mistakes in the instructions. Enjoy your build!

need a support group for people who bought this product
so far it has been very challenging to put together due to the fragility of the structure, i’m kind of enjoying the challenge but be very careful not to brush the piece or a big chunk will fall off and it’s hard to figure out how to put it back together ONLY BUY THIS IF YOU WANT A CHALLENGE -update buy some glue

Know what you're getting into
Personally, I loved this and it looks amazing in my room completed. But I could definitely see why someone wouldn't be able to come close to finishing this. The pieces are tiny which makes it hard to work with but also look more detailed in the end. It's pretty tedious and challenging but that makes every piece more gratifying. Also the instructions aren't great, it just shows you pictures of a bunch of new pieces in place and you kind of have stare at it and use your brain to figure it out. The pieces feel good quality and the colors look good. I would recommend buying on of the other sets from dOvOb before the eiffel tower but if you're up for a challenge definitely go for this :)

Struggling with the tower
I have had issues with the blocks staying together. The last one I ordered was fine but this kit has more issues. Design issue?
