Anesthesia Made Easy: The Survival Guide to Make Your First Anesthesia Rotation a Success

I start anesthesiologist assignment school in May and was required to read this book prior to starting, and it has made me excited about learning more and provided me with the basics I’ll need to help me navigate through school. I will definitely be referring back to this book and re-reading it! Definitely recommend for anyone interested in anesthesia or anyone going into school for it!

Dr. Steiner, thank you thank you thank you a million times over! Your book has been such a life savior! All the pearls and highlights of important top notch information, it’s just all really wonderful, to the point and a great over all pocket book! Reading this book before starting school to become an Anesthesiologist Assistant! Currently I am a Registered Respiratory Therapist so I can confidently share the terminology is easy to understand and follow. I am very grateful this book was written, I found it very helpful.

Will be going back to this when i start CAA school. Im surprised that a DO thought of writing this book! Sooo useful for future students aspiring to be anesthetists or anesthesiologists

The content of the book is a great overview that doesn’t dive too deep. It kept my attention the whole time. The formatting left something to be desired. The addition of some bold words and section headings would have made this a 5-star book.

It was good and cutting through all the dense material. It cut straight to the basics and was very helpful.

Great book when preparing for an anesthesia rotation. Relatively quick read, hits all the high points so you have a good base to build on. I loved the bullet point-like information, very easy to read and easy to reference when needed. Tip..the anesthesiologists don't appreciate the title of this book (understandably so), so maybe not lay it face up when setting it down around them ;)

Ho acquistato questo libro per un ripasso rapido prima di cominciare la specializzazione in anestesia e rianimazione, in quanto era circa un anno che non entravo in sala operatoria visto il tirocinio di abilitazione e l'attesa del test di specialità. Esso costituisce una guida breve e funzionale per avvicinarsi ai principali concetti del vasto mondo dell'anestesiologia, spiegati in maniera comprensibile ed utile a chi per la prima volta si confronta con questa disciplina. Il libro è diviso in brevi capitoli focalizzati sui temi principali (es. gestione delle vie aeree, rapid sequence intubation, anestesia ostetrica, farmaci di uso anestesiologico, ecc...) con utili tabelle riassuntive e check-list. Consiglio vivamente la lettura agli studenti di medicina ed infermieristica in procinto di svolgere un tirocinio in anestesia, in quanto permette di rendere meno traumatico l'impatto coi tanti macchinari, i diversi farmaci e le procedure con cui in poche ore si può entrare in contatto e soprattutto di capire cosa e perché sta accadendo.
