Disappointment
I bought this machine from the Aldi, advised by other sewing people that even a cheaper Singer is a tremendous good machine. Well, I don't know what is wrong with mine, have it checked out and they can't find the problem, but it is breaking the thread all the time, the button hole program is not working and it is skipping stitches. Not the best machine, unless you only want to do plain and overlock sewing...

Doesn't sound like a singer sewing machine! 😭
I bought this machine from Lidl as I was going to sell my Janome quilting machine. I did have a singer before so I was happy to buy another one. It is a good enough sewing machine, I used it for plain stitching and overclocking, which I must say is very good. The only thing I have against it is it is very 'tinny' sounding when machining. I kept my Janome and went to quilting classes but I will use the brilliance for plain sewing.
