Purchased to replace a broken wheel on my Northern Tool mechanics rolling seat. One of the wheels had the mounting shaft strip and then fall off. These wheels are much higher quality - larger diameter shaft (3/8 vs 5/16), higher grade steel, longer threads to have more threads engaged, freer rolling wheels, and just look better. Had to drill out the seat frame to accept larger diameter shaft, but other than that, installation was a breeze. I now have a much better mechanics seat than if I had gone back to the store and purchased a new one. This purchase was a great investment.

I used these components to make an animal traction device. It runs very smoothly and fully meets my requirements. It can be seen that these wheels can withstand a lot of pressure when necessary.

I ordered this product for my snap on jc27 creeper, to install I had to drill the factory holes on the frame 2 sizes bigger to fit the shaft and to fit the cap. It seems I ordered a size too big which was not fault of the product. After cutting the shafts down I was then able to fit the wheels in and then to secure them. These wheels feel amazing and roll with ease. For the price this product definitely exceeded my expectations, you receive great value for the money. It works great and completed my restoration project.

A bit taller than the originals and another set of replacements, and larger diameter shafts and wheels. MUCH more robust. LUBE THESE WHEN YOU INSTALL THEM and a lot of the complaints go away. In fact, I have a new complaint; they roll so darned well that when you're 70, the darned thing tends to shoot out away from you when you're getting up and down. Also when you try to torque a bolt, most times the creeper rolls away with you on it! They might ever roll too well.

I bought this set to replace a set of casters on an older swivel seat I have been using for a couple of years. The original casters started dropping bearings and after not getting any response from the manufacturer of the seat, I searched Amazon for a replacement set. Not an exact match for this seat but with a little effort, they are working great. The original hole was square and slightly smaller in diameter so I just enlarged it a bit and the new caster fit. I did have to adapt with the addition of a couple of washers one lock washer each (tons of spares in my workshop) to ensure the supplied end cap would not loosen. I preferred using the provided cap just to eliminate exposed threads on the shank. These are very sturdy as the shank is slightly thicker that the original wheels, so they should last a while. Additionaly, the set comprised of six casters and I only required five, so I have a spare in case one of theses starts to wear sooner than the others. Very happy with the purchase, delivery, and final outcome. Definitely worth the price and I would recommend these to anyone.

Looked great, loved the options with different fasteners. Realized all of the male threads were a problem, had to use a die to chase the threads. I should have known made in China. You get what you pay for.

The wheels were a very strong set. The nuts and bolts were ridged and slightly bigger than the those to which I replaced them with and I got a stronger fit. The price however was a bit steep and I could have bought the entire stool for less. Nonetheless, I’m proud of repairing my stool with a sturdier set of wheels.
