I have pretty fine hair and a lot of products are just too heavy, leaving me with sticky hair or a wet look.My hairdresser uses this product and I now use it too. It's simple to use, and it gives lift and body to my short, and a decent amount of hold with just a small amount of product.I use it on dry hair, rub a small amount into my fingers then apply to my hair from all directions so I don't get too much in one place.I'll be staying with this product so long as the recipe doesn't change.

Added firm hold to hair style

It might be a bit unfair to overly criticise as this isn’t really marketed as a product for long hair, so I’ll leave it 4 stars as it might well be great for short hair. I’m leaving this review for the others out there with longer hair that find it hard to source products that work. I know I’m not the only one trying products for shorter styles as it’s very hard to find products with ‘the Goldilocks’ formula for longer ones!Since Tony & Guy discontinued ‘the yellow striped tin’ from their range - I’m finding it so hard to find something with enough moisture to run through my hair but with enough hold to give it some separation and definition. I loved that product as it had everything I wanted.This stuff is tough and will definitely hold hair in place. It’s just too dry to run through longer styles and separate the hair out. Will try something else! Probably works fine for shorter styles where you want to avoid greasiness.

This is easily one of the best men’s hair styling products I have used! It is easy to apply with a firm hold that lasts throughout the day until washed out and a matte finish that doesn’t leave hair looking greasy or shiny. It also smells great which is often a downside to some cheaper products. Only improvement I would say is that the pump doesn't always work very well and you have to push it up from underneath before you can pump out more of the wax, but this doesn't detract from the quality of the product at all.

No better !! People have left remarks about not being able to get the product out of the tube, just push from the bottom a little, if that happens, common sense but some folk struggle it would appear !! Great product with firm hold!!

It's OK, does the job, not too heavy.Not the same aroma when I used it back around 10 years ago. One reviewer stated it smelt of carrots. I concur, not the original fudge scent.

I have this on Subscribe & Save. I have been using this product for years now and have nothing bad to say on the product quality.This holds well looks good and just does exactly what I need to get me through the day.I often have to wear caps at work and this does not suffer afterwards. Overall a great product.
