Pentel Graph-1000CS XPG1005CSC Mechanical Pencil, Blue

This pencil is great, I have a few of them in different colors now. They are .5 lead which I really like as it isn't to big or too small and it writes great. The Pencil itself it great, it is super light and made of quality material. It has grips towards the bottom of the pencil which I typically do not like but the way they have done it I actually really like it and you really don't notice it, it is just there and it works really well to help keep your grip on the pencil which really comes in handy depending on what you are doing, whether it be writing or drawing this is a must have pencil overall and you will not be disappointed if you purchase one. Pentel makes great products and this pencil is one of them!

This is my first "nice" mechanical pencil. Please be aware the body is plastic, but it is not a cheap feeling product. The pencil is comfortable to hold and use for short quick sketches, or prolonged writing. As you would expect, the eraser is really small. I carry an eraser with me anyways so this is not a big deal. If you want a large eraser on the pencil I would look at other options. The tip is also fixed and non retractable. Personally the last two features that I mention can be positives or negatives depending on what you look for.

Pencil with excellent quality, value/cost and a cool appearance. I personally find it a little too light. The older Graph 500 model has a slightly less attractive profile but with a similar material make-up and just enough additional weight to make one forget your favorite all alluminum pencil.

Love it! I use this and the red one to hold my red and blue leds for drawing. It’s very sturdy and comfortable, I really like a bit of weight the metal has in my hand.

Good quality, should last a long time. Good weight for my writing style. Use for general writing, ledger entries, anytime I write a note at my desk.

Note: Non-Returnable item. Purchased the .5 in red and blue and the .7 in black. The barrel size is very small w a diameter of ~1/4”, weight ~12g. Do not mistake this product for the Pentel PG1017 Graph Gear 1000 Mechanical Pencil, diameter of ~ 3/8”, weight ~ 21g. This product is far inferior in quality, weight, barrel diameter and mechanical design. The tip on this does not retract as the Pentel GRAPH GEAR 1000. The feel is cheap in my opinion, but to each his own. Stick with the metal Graph GEAR 1000.

I love mechanical pencils and I have a wide assortment for sketching mechanical, architectural, and electronic drawings. This is definitely one of the better ones that I now own.

I suckered myself into buying this pencil because the blue looked pretty. Lame, I know. The pencil is really light, some people may find that to be a boon, I don't care for it. To me it feels flimsy. I will stick to the graphgear 500, which has a nicer feel in my opinion.

j'ai mis du temps à choisir un modèle qui conviendrait et je suis ravie de mon choix. l'endroit où la mine est tenue, long et fin sans coque inutile, permet vraiment de bien voir quand on trace dans les gabarits. la prise en main est agréable, la petite gomme fonctionne très bien, et le rouuuuuge est si beau, c'est du plastique mais il a l'air presque laqué. bref : excellent achat, je recommande :).

Its so comfortable and little heavier than "for Pro" version. It came with little gift :) It delivered on 16.12.2016 and i get it 09.01.2017
