great replacement for (wall-mounted) fluorescent closet lights!
I used these to replace some fluorescent closet lights (~18") because the unit itself is a UL-listed junction box (when grounded)-- so you can put them in places where there's only a bare wire coming out of your wall.Now the closets are brighter and everything looks better under new LED bulbs.In my application you can't actually see the fixtures, if you could the chrome finish might be pretty obnoxious (unless going for a "classic Hollywood" look I guess).

tenant likes the light out put vs the 2 lamp fixture he had before. He wished it were more expensive looking

not for diy vanity makers, some installation required
If I was actually buying this to wire it to my home or install above a bathroom mirror, it'd be a real steal. However, I bought it as a quick fix for a home made vanity and was discouraged to find out that it didn't fit my needs. I ended up donating it and buying a litle strip ;amp that belongs under the kitchen counter to stick above my bedroom vanity mirror. BUt over all these lights are very nice looking and if I had the chops to drill into my wall to ground it and itstall it, I would have.

Great Price! Great Product!
I really like the lights, installation was super easy. I used the lights to complete my vanity area. I would of gave it 5 stars but one of my light socket holder is lose. Other than that minor issue the product is functional and very stylish. I still recommend this product. Also I used command -large picture strips to hang it on the wall.

Wrong colors sent
I bought two of these in chrome finish. I recieved one in a chrome finish and the other had a nickel finish. I was very disappointed being that I was mounting these on each side of my vanity mirror that it 19 inches wide. I would return them, but it's not worth the money to send it back, so I guess I will take the loss.

Just as described & easy to install
Great product so far, easy to install, and it's just as described. I literally ordered this when I was in Home Depot and they didn't quite have what I was looking for. Went to my Amazon app and boom, ordered, received within 2 days. Awesome!

who needs a lamp, when you can just use this and a remote!
i love this, i used to to build my own vanity lights!then i attached a remote control to it, and it works perfectly as vanity light or regular lightsin my bedroom
