Works Great
Initial testing good. While not the cheapest option available, it is still quite reasonably priced and seems like a much more professional tool than the lower-priced options I tried. This unit has a relatively compact size, but still has a decent heftiness feel to it - I do not mean that it is heavy, just that it does not feel like a 50 cent plastic toy. Impressively, it comes with a real significant manual written in actual English (and many other languages too) instead of some Chinese gibberish. My one minor complaint is that the manual is just a bit too large to fit into the pocket in the case intended for storage. I solved this by just tearing the 24 page English section off the top of the manual, then folding it in half, but that should not have been necessary. Another notable feature is that the test leads come with tip covers that actually have real value. Instead of just completely covering the tips so that they have to be removed to use the meter at all, these leave the very ends of the tips exposed so that the leads can be used for many basic measurements with the covers left in place (such as a quick battery test). More than just convenience, these have the added value that if you need to measure something in a tight position where you are worried that the normally long and fully exposed tip might short out on something beside you intended measurement point, the lead cover proves extra protection. I'm not sure why most modern test leads come with full plastic covers anyway; what possible protection does a bare metal probe need in storage? The accuracy specs (from the manual) seem to be acceptable for a tool in this price range: DCV +-0.5%, ACV +-0.8%, Current +-2.5%, Resistance +-1.0%

Works Great
Ordered because I have a customer that wants amperage readings on all his trucks every service. Compared to a $400 Fluke. Readings are identical. Well worth the money! Display is a bit small but readable.

Decent meter for the $$
I needed a clamp on meter capable of DC amps anywhere in the vicinity of 0.5 a to 50 amps. While I found in the advertisement that the meter had a 60 amp and a 600 amp scale, nowhere on Amazon could I find the minimum amperage this meter could detect ( ie, would it even indicate 0.5 amps). I bought it on the hope that it would. On the 60 amp scale, the device displays two decimals, so in theory a current of 0.01 amp could be detected. I would not however buy it to read this low of a current, as I would be highly suspect of the accuracy at this low level. I would say the very lowest dc current this can reliably detect is 0.1 amp or 100 madc. Decent meter. I wouldn’t consider it “standards” grade, but a lot of features for home owner use.

Awesome meter
Excellent multipurpose digital meter. Easy to use. Great display. I used it to check the parasitic battery draw on my car. The clamp on amp meter read below 50 mili amps at times. I found the min/max function to be very useful. The zero reset function is a must when reading current this low. Awesome feature! I wish it had a way of monitoring longer than the auto ten minute shutoff feature which saves the batteries. Right on accuracy with my other digital meter reading DC voltage. I highly recommend this meter.

KAIWEETS Digital Clamp Meter Multimeter = Best Deal On A Useful DC Clamp
The KAIWEETS Digital Clamp Meter Multimeter with D-Shaped Jaw for AC/DC Current & Voltage is about the best deal you're going to find for a DC clamp; there are cheaper AC clamp multimeters but few DC amp clamp meters at this price. This is something you can use in your car without having to dismantle as much wiring as you would in your house. The AC clamp meters on all of these are less useful for the average homeowner because you can only clamp test ONE individual wire at a time, but most wiring is multi wire Romex. Nice meter, nice case, shipped in 1 day. 100% content.

Compact, useful, nice backlight
Works as advertised. Allowed me to easily diagnose a power trailer tongue jack with no power and make the necessary repairs. Very compact with a nice zipper storage case.

Excellent Digital Clampmeter.
I must state that I am NOT a professional electrician nor am I an electrician by trade. I am a technology enthusiast. I design and deploy networks, hardware installations, repairs and personnel software provisioning. I needed to add a digital clamp meter to my growing tools set. A clamp meter because I want to be able to measure amperage as well. I needed something capable, durable and with a decent amount of functionality. This came up in my search and then I moved on to investigating it through YouTube reviews. My dad was a service technician so I had an idea of some of the functions that I wanted. This HT206D is impressive. As an artist and someone nearly obsessed with design, I appreciate its form and the colours are lovely. Predominantly red and black with white and orange for labelling and one grey rubber button. The clamp is firm and while I thought I would have had a reservation about the body being made of plastic instead of rubber, it turns out it is a non issue. I have big hands so nearly everything is relatively small in them. This is small to me and also very comfortable. The way a little of the circumference of the dial overlaps the edge of the tester, it is easier to use for a one handed operation which makes it convenient for you to use your other hand to manage the probes, which, are very decent quality. The cables are soft and pliable so there is virtually no resistance in getting them to the contacts that you're trying to reach. The overall boil of this is sturdy and has no feeling of cheapness or anyone cutting corners to compromise on anything. The features are as good as the best I can guess. Firstly, this is a Direct Current AND Alternating Current tester. You don't have to chose between having one or the other. The display is big and clearly visible. Even if ambient lighting is not sufficient for you, backlight facilitates clear, legible readings all the time. If you want a comprehensive list of the features, they are listed here on the amazon page, as well as numerous other sites with reviews. I must add though, that the thermometer is a really nice additional peripheral. I can't say for now what cases I can think of where I will have need for it but it is an additional value. Like I stated earlier, I am not an electrician by trade. However, the data I have seen others collect on other forums, compared to more finely tuned instruments, are only dissimilar by a negligible margin and personally, they align with what is expected. In addition to this being an AC/DC tester, I bought it because of the 600 Volt capacity. I can say with certainty that I will NOT find myself in any environment needing a higher capacity than that. My home uses 110/115 volts with 220 volts for a small number of appliances. My car has a 12 volt battery and my alternator gives me close to 15 volts. Not to mention that the everyday consumer electronics dont consume much electricity or produce any power to even reach have of what this can test. It was a comfortable buy and if you're an every day person, a hobbyist or even a professional, the capabilities of this tester will not come up short of what you require.

Seems like a good value
First impressions after 2 weeks of use. This meter does almost everything I need. Voltage and resistance readings are spot on. Capacitance readings seem accurate down to 10 pf. AC RMS voltage readings seem accurate. The ability to hold peak readings is a nice feature. The main limitation is current readings. AC current readings seem reasonably accurate (of course you need to place only 1 wire in the clamp. However DC current readings (in the 100 mA range) were inconsistent even after nullify out the stray magnetic fields with the "zero" button. Unfortunately there is no direct way to measure mA currents using the probes. (In one case I just put a 1 ohm resistor in series with the circuit and measured the voltage. As long as the current is less than 1 A, a 1 W resistor should suffice.) The auto power off function is nice, but the only way I found to turn the meter back on is to turn the function knob to "off" and restart. I found the thermocouple useful for checking the temperature of a power resistor. (I had no idea that they could hit 130 C while operating within their rated power!) All in all, I would recommend this unit for an advanced hobbyist.

good buy
I got this for €33, and for the price it’s absolutely amazing. Even at €44, it would still be a good deal. It feels great in the hand, the clamp is solid and strong, and the screen is nice and clear with backlight. Everything works as expected and it feels sturdy overall. It could maybe use some rubber on the housing for better grip, but at this price point it’s excellent value.
