very comfy and warm. I got medium and it was still a little spacious. perfect fit. it also has a cool design on the back so you can reach out further with your arms without stretching the jacket.

Ordered a medium, glad I didn't take the advice for what size I should wear. This coat however, is Amazing, feels good, warm, thick material that will stand the test of time, I'm sure of it!! Excited to get my bibs tomorrow!! Excellent product!!

Before purchasing this jacket I read as many reviews as possible on the sizing. When ordering clothes online we all want to avoid the pain of having to return them for a different size. One thing that stuck out to me was that people said the jacket runs big. I usually wear a medium in most shirts but with coats and jackets I usually get a large. I decided to go with the medium expecting it to fit more like a large based upon the reviews. I also have a Carhartt hoodie that is a medium and it’s pretty loose on me so the reviews that said it runs big seemed reasonable to me. I’m a 6 foot male with a 40 inch chest and I weigh 165lbs. I first put the jacket on over a t-shirt and it seemed a perfect fit but I would definitely not want it any smaller. The thing is I plan on this being my winter work coat and where I live it frequently gets 20 degrees Fahrenheit and below and I will need to add a layer or two underneath for the extra warmth. I tried the jacket on over a hoodie and it was just too tight and without enough range of movement for what I do so I returned it for a large. The large seems to be perfect on me with a hoodie underneath and it’s still not too big with just a shirt so I should be able to get more usage out of this jacket other than just the coldest winter months. The jacket itself is great quality. Triple stitching, tough materials, and draw strings on the hood and lower hem to customize the fit. I highly recommend this jacket and just about everything Carhartt makes. Hope my experience on the sizing is helpful. If you’re kinda in between sizes like I am maybe order the two sizes you fall between and keep the one that fits the way you want.

I bought this as a bridge between my Carhartt Yukon Extreme coat that I wear when it drops below the teens (sometimes way below). That coat is excellent for deep cold, but it's *so* well insulated that it's overpowered for anything above freezing. It will have you sweating in your truck or inside after a few minutes. This coat is a perfect solution for more common winter temps (Teens through 50's)-- it is extremely comfortable, fits great (I'm 6' 165lbs and size Medium is perfect) and it has a hood that I use all the time. It is genuinely warm- I can wear short sleeves under it in the 20's and I am absolutely comfortable. I praise it highly as an overall excellent winter go-to-- I love the dark coffee brown color (matches my Stetson) and the sherpa in the body/hood is soft and doesn't shed anything onto my clothes (the sleeves are nylon lined not sherpa, FYI). The hand pockets are appropriately deep and let you protect your hands well --something I knocked the Yukon Extreme coat for pretty hard, with it's pitiful mouse-hand pockets that won't even hold a cellphone without extreme risk of it falling out. The zipper on this coat is metal, and since no review is worth anything if it doesn't find a flaw somewhere, I think they would help users by having a larger zipper tab for your fingers to grab-- it's really quite small for an otherwise hefty-weight coat and finding it is a burden that seems like a preventable oversight-- but that's all I really find to complain about. You will love this coat.

Best damn jacket I have ever purchased. For toss for work up in Connecticut and it kept me very warm almost a little too warm. Best heavy jacket I’ve ever purchased!!

Went to 4 stars. Has No pocket large enough to hold my iPhone. And no zippers on pockets so I can’t carry phone while I work. Needs a larger zipper that’s EZ to grasp & start. Small one is tough to connect bcause of heavy material — minor drawbacks to an otherwise sturdy work jacket It’s not wind proof - glad for that as it would be uncomfortably hot while working. Good into the 30’s & breathable which is great!! I tumbled it around in the dryer on low heat to knock the stiffness out of it - that worked. Heavier than I expected — has a warmth rating of 2 (moderate) my guess, will be fine into the low 30’s A good number of pockets; needs at least one larger zippered pocket for cellphone; inside left pocket with zipper should do, but should be a larger size. Most pockets are too small & need zippers Elastic in cuffs is very good elastic; on the tight side but I’m sure will stretch a bit after awhile. Typical great canvas material. Sherpa lining adds a bit of tightness to the jacket but when I move & flex my arms there’s plenty of room to move; NOT binding at all. I think it feels tight bcause the material has to loosen up & stretch a bit after it breaks in. Jacket is NOT restrictive at all. The medium should fit anyone in 170’s 5 6” to 5 9” range just fine — no room to layer up. Sherpa is bulky & doesn’t leave room for a sweatshirt but it’s so warm, I’ll not be needing layers I don’t like the hood - feels bulky with the thick Sherpa lining — but maybe I’ll appreciate that on a cold windy day & again, hopefully that will loosen up some once material flexes & breaks in Jacket feels like it’ll take a beating & last for a long long time. No regrets !!! A great choice.

It's comfortable. Both me and my lady have a pair. The pockets are nice, it keeps you very warm but it is a jacket you can wear in spring, fall, and winter. It's durable and easy to wash as well. Ps. The inside is fluffy.

Jag tog en medium som passar perfekt med plats till tjockare tröja om så behövs. Är 177 cm och väger 80 kg. Avsändaren är tydligen en tysk butik (?) som skickade med bra extra-information om jackan. Bara plus hela vägen =)

This is a great jacket. Build quality is great and will last for years. It’s got a nice warmth to it that will be perfect for most of the winter where I live. The freedom of movement with the arms/back is fantastic and makes it super comfy and functional. I was concerned about sizing when I ordered but in my opinion it’s a true to size for a regular/relaxed fit. I wear medium to large for other brands and a medium here is perfect.

Amazing warm jacket, the fitting is just perfect it feels a little bulky on the chest though otherwise i can’t fault it
