Do you have to bake this on a rifle? I don't have access to a big enough oven

Yes....I made a big box to hang my rifle in and hung a heat gun inside with an oven thermometer to get the correct temperature. This coating only has to be at temperature for thirty minutes so it is possible even without an oven.

Is it safe to bake in the house?

Yes, it does have an odor though. Nothing terrible.

What's the heat resistance?

Its fairly heat resistant. you can use on any part. But keep in mind, its just paint. Moving parts will show wear quickly, and it's not scratch resistant as cerokote( such as a bolt carrier).

Would this product adhere to brass?

Don't know why it wouldn't. I would opt to sand the brass with 1000 grit and degrease before use.
