Review: beats the competitors on style, comfort, material, and pockets - I ordered three pairs of pants for my blue collar partner. These, another pair of Wrangler pants in a relaxed fit style, and then some Dickies brand work pants. The Dickies ended up being his least favorite of the three. He really likes these for the relaxed fit, and they fit nice in the waist- the Dickies brand was too tight in the same size- 30x32. He really likes the cargo style work pants because of the pockets. He is a blue collar worker and and puts his pants and boots through the ringer at work. The material is nice, not too thick or too thin. I usually get his Carhartt brand bottoms but after he decimated his last pair of shorts I went looking for new pairs, and came across this Wrangler brand. Way more cost effective for a better quality and better reviews. As a long time fan of Dickies, Carhartt, and other working name brands, I was shocked to see an off brand surpass expectations and have better reviews and longevity. His shorts held up well, and after having better reviews than the competitors, I decided to give the pants a try. So far, no complaints. They are thick like quality but not too thick to where its uncomfy. They fit as expected, true to size. The slim look sits really well with a 8" pair of steel toes. They don't stretch too much but they still have good mobility as long as you get your correct size. They function as expected and hold all the items he needs them too. They are soft too, almost like a brushed microfiber and not so much like a harsh denim or khaki. I will say I feel like the belt loops were a little thin- if you're planning on hanging things from your belt loops while on the job these might not last too long. My partner does not use the pelt loops for anything other than the belt so I am not too worried there. Overall, these look good, and for the price you really cant beat it. My partner actually likes them so much he made them his 'going out pants' so they haven't stood the test of time at his work place, but if anything fails or underperforms I'll be sure to update my review. Review: Very Comfortable - These are the most comfortable pants I am 5-10 180 34-32 fit very nice. I Love all the pockets good quality, and great value I have a couple pairs and plan on purchasing more in future. I Really Like how they sit right below the waist line fit just right wish they were tampered a little more over all good paints. ...

good fit
Good fit, sort of slim but not tight. The taper in the legs is nice. VERY lightweight material. Great for warmer months but won't keep you warm in the cold. Lots of pockets. Zero shrinkage on cold wash/warm dry. I liked it enough that I now own 3 colors.

comfortable but not as durable as one would hope
they are some of the best fitting, most comfortable pants i ever wore, only issue is they wear out real fast , specially the area on the butt cheek where you rub against the car seat getting in and out of a car. i drive for living, so there is a lot of that everyday, and thats why they wear out real quick , but for 30 dollars a piece , i am not expecting an end of the world survival kind of pants. i still buy them in 2 or 3 pairs, specially if they go on sale.

Less than 6 months of work, stress-holes along pockets/seams and thinning/pilling at the crotch.
I'm sad these didn't last that long: I adore the Wrangler brand, especially their button up shirts, but these were a let-down. When I initially got them, I was stoked at the size and quantity of the pockets, the length and sizing were excellent, and the fabric was breathable (the last point I realize now is a bad sign for work pants). I am a welding student and I work manual labour with horses outside of school, so admittedly these pants did get a lot of use. However, I'd hope a name like Wrangler would last longer than 6 months! The pockets' velcro started to fail, the pants shrunk SIGNIFICANTLY post -washes (went from being too big around my waist and too long to wear without tripping/rolling them up-- I ordered them that way on purpose because I knew cotton had some shrinkage-- to being able to wear them fully without a belt, and the inseam rising above my ankles). That point I think contributed to the fact that the butt and seams along the pockets started getting tear-holes everywhere ( I'm a welder, so some burn holes are expected, but these were not from that work; all of those expected welding-holes were along the front thighs). The pilling and thinning of the fabric at the crotch from friction was terrible, too-- no reasonable or even mild durability for those of us with thicker thighs. Eventually, two of the four pairs I owned (because they've been thrown out now) tore at the crotch, and the other two tore at the butt-seam and the butt-pocket seams in a such a way that my instructor had to notify me as politely as he could. Again, I know nothing lasts forever, especially when you're doing manual labor, but I would have hoped a brand like Wrangler would last at least a year, and only one of my four pairs lasted barely half of that.
